  1. http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html Try that Greg
  2. Re-installing Traffic 2004 should fix it, did for me.
  3. Hi Manny, thats not usually happened before. I have an older version, but never that problem. Have you tried uninstalling to see if the same thing happens. When Mr Dowson returns to the land of the living from the land of nod, I'm sure he'll be able to help you out, but please try to make sure that it is FSUIPC before you tell him that it's FSUIPC thats at fault. Also, it would help if you put up some specs, ie whether fs is updated.
  4. Your intent was to purchase a program that you have/had no understanding of what it does. His advice to you was not to purchase it in your situation, and yet you still complain? If you were to go to his web page and RTFI, it would explain exactly what his program does. Basically its a program that allows other non-Microsoft add-ons to communicate with fs so they work with fs or enhance things, ie controllers. (Pete I hope I got that right?) I have a CH yoke that, although great, FSUIPC allows you to fine tune the responce therefore allowing better control. You asked him a far question, and he gave you a far answer. What did you expect.........Pete to hold your hand and say "there there, everything will be OK" At the end of the day you are just discovering the world of flight sim, so why spend money that you earned, and probably very hard, on something that at this time, you could do without? Believe me, there are so many add-ons that you will buy than you will think, why did I buy that. But then there are add-ons that you'll buy that you will love. There are even some add-ons that come with FSUIPC, so you won't even need to purchace it to start with. I hope you enjoy the world of flight sim in the future, but unlike you I DO hope you have a good day.
  5. LMAO, Pete tells you to save your money and that make's him arrogant? Go figure!
  6. Glad your well Pete. Hope they get your eyes sorted soon. Just and idea but, have you thought about one of those programs that reads what it on the screen like Office xp. You can even dictated to if via a mic, that might help in cutting the time you need to look at the screen.
  7. Pete's "Da Man". gave up watching fps a long time ago. However, I use both PMDG 737 AND PSS Dash 8. PMDG 737 a real system hogger and thats before pulling down the menu, but the dash 8 is ok, and my system ain't the latest by 2 years. I'm not going to suggest a fix because I'm not qualified, just wanted you to know that the Dash 8 should cause no problems. BTW, hows me ol mucker Pete doing, you getting set for that holiday yet?
  8. 1st, what make of yoke? 2nd, have you returned to your old yoke to check if fs works? If its a CH Products yoke, it provides a new set up that FSUIPC accepts without any problems (in my experience), that said though, you might have to cancel to setup in FSUIPC before it works, but I would guess not. Pete could answer that with more confidence. However, if it is a CH Product yoke, it might be that you need to update you driver for it. I bought a new one seven months ago and I still needed to update the driver. That was a problem but the new driver sorted it. If it is the CH Products yoke, here is a link for the latest driver. http://www.chproducts.com/retail/tech_controlmanager.html Hope that helps
  9. jmgaleida, email me and I'll get those screan shots to you
  10. Since August last  You snook that 1 in, Cuba? How cool is that, I'd love to go there. From what I gather, it's like traveling back 50 years. Hope everything works out OK for your good lady and yourself. Forgive Sir, I'm not worthy.................. :?
  11. Pete m8, I have noticed that you have worked on FSUIPC and others for a long long time. You strive to deliver a perfect system of what you do, and yet I notice, or missed, that you haven't (in the time that I have been a member of this forum) taken a holiday. If I am wrong, and you have taken a break/holiday, then stop reading here. BUT if I'm right, then its about time you took one. You do a great job in what you do, and your support is as best as they come, but those who need support could wait a week or two, hint hint, while you refresh yourself. It's not like its a life or death situation. This is just my thoughts, and if there is anybody out there who feel that this man deserves a break, then help me by posting your support. If your one of those that believe's that you paid your money and he should be there 24/7...................get a life. (being very polite)
  12. jmgalmeida, I'll try to send you 2 screan shots of what I mean[/img]
  13. Hope you don't mind Pete............. jmgalmeide, load up PMDG's 737 then from the drop down menu, click PMDG/keystrokes and there you have the ones you need, hope that helps.
  14. Excuse me but, there is nothing wrong with somebody trying to make a $/£ here and there, after all, we all have to live. Ok Pete isn't at the for front of tech support, and like the man said, he spend's more time on FSUIPC than he would like, but come on. There are professional add-ons about where the tech support is nothing but a piss take. (Sorry monitors) And that includeds Microsoft. Notice no updates for FS2k2 and probably the same for FS9. But do you contact them and complain? Most just accept it and buy the latest version. Atleast Pete takes the time out to reply to questions put to him. In all his replies, he has maintained a high standard and been polite, including this post and I raise my hat to him, as there have been some really difficult customers. Basically, if you don't want to buy/download his FSUIPC then don't, after all, Microsoft say its as real as it get, so you shouldn't have any problems?
