wow i feel young lol i was born 4-20-89 so that makes me um 15 lol
born and raised im massachusetts but i live in maine on weekends and holladays and summers :) we have a camp up there with a floatplane... thats why im up there so much.
im currently learning to fly.

here's me doing what i love to do besides FS, getting ready to go fly floats :D
This is my dads friend's float plane who dosent use it much but we do lol. i like it better that the hawk on wheels, because you dont fly above 700 AGL and you can see the wildlife real good.

anyways,
the river in the pic has sandbars, and i was wondering if Skykomish has sandbars ( http://www.wsdot.wa.gov/aviation/Airports/Skykomish.htm ). Could someone who has the new scenery try and match it if they have the time? thanks :)
just wondering, because i love to fly the sandbars in geo 6 in a tundra tires plane (supercub etc) and on floats, is the skyomish wide enough and flat enough to land a float plane. Could someone take a pic for me?

well are there sand bars on the Skykomish that you could land a cub on... ( like the ones near S86 the grass field geo 6) im asking because theres rw pics of cubs "playin on the sandbars on the Skykomish river". It's on the supercub.org site but it seems to not be working... but when i can get to the site ill give you guys a link. Just wondering if i should spen the few cents i can find in the couch :lol: id normally buy it when it came out but im saving for a rw J-3 and the guys gonna give me a deal because him and my dad are friends. Im suposto go up there today and work on it.
ill probablly buy it when i get some spare cash.

hey all i just got a few questons bout the new georender.
at lake Wenatchee are there any floatplane docks?
and at skyomish is the river float plane landable (ie flat) like the one in geo 6 and does it have sand bars like geo6? the only reason i ask is that i love to land my tundra tire supercub on the sandbars and the rivers on floats pose a fun challange. If you guys could take a few pics of the river that would be helpfull

thanks i did have it on a cd but it wont install cause i think the cd is scratched or something.

pit i got mine working again....
i uninstallled all fs programs everything! then ran the ad-aware and norton antivirus and then re installed fs9 and i have bill lyons Golden hawaii and the stinson and they work great
hope it works for you...
now back to find all my serials and download everything elese :cry:
thats the problem with payware you cant say well i dont like it and i want my $$ back oh well

did you recently save a flight in a j-3 cub at dusk with real world weather?
thats when it got all screwed up for me
even after an uninstall it still dont work
i can go into the root folder for flights and doubble click and it works fine i just cant start em in fs9.

i uninstalled everything to do wit hfs then uninstalled fs9 and re installed it and the flights still dont work
GRRR and now i have no payware planes or anything elese GRR so pitt i guess you'll have to live with it untill we findout whats wrong.
p.s. what planes payware and free scenery etc do you have?

pitt im having the same prob... the flight screen dosent show up fs just dosent respond. i can go into C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Flights and doubble click the flights without fs started and it starts and loads the flight fine.
p.s. do you have tweaksFPS installed? i just thought of something cause i just got it and the flights dont work.. going to uninstall now

keith get a cessna 150... you'll really enjoy the same ground scenery with any wind LOL. do you travel much with your plane? if not a declathlon would be a fun plane cause you can do aerobatics.

hey my dad/instructor says ill should be soloing in april so from now to then flying every wednesday.
but i am having a ton of fun... and even get to fly a seaplane every now and then

well i finally bought it but my parents paid for it because of good school grades. Gee you didnt tell me that there are sand bars at lake wenachee lol i found some good beaches too :D Well one thing the ice dosent freeze lol i noticed that in geo 6 the river freezes and you can land planes on it. i thought that was pritty real lol. Well anyways you did awsome on this one... at skykomish i got cut off by a pickup when i was landing lol that was a challenge. Ya'll did an awsome job and keep up the great work.
