Guten Tag. My registered FSUIPC v3.48 performs well with FS9.1 (WinXP SP1) Recently I installed WideFS according WideFS.doc Main PC with FS9 as server, 2nd Laptop (Win98) in a LAN as client. When starting FS on main PC the frame notes 'Wide Server not able to serve (see log) in 2nd PC I see 'WideClient FS98 Eliminator - Waiting for a connection' ********* WideClient.DLL Log [version 5.40] ********* Date (dmy): 02/09/05, Time 16:18:20.570: Client name is 1ADAM12 60 Attempting to connect now 120 Client socket() failed [Error=10047] Address family not supported by protocol family 4262 Failed to start Client! 2946480 Reception maximum achieved: 0 frames/sec, 0 bytes/sec 2946480 Max receive buffer = 0, Max send depth = 0 2946480 ********* Log file closed (Buffers: MaxUsed 0, Alloc 0 Freed 0 Refused 0) ********* I could'nt register WideFS in FSUIPC since there came no Key with free WideFS. Guten Tag Pete http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/defaud=28001169 All I can say is, a .vbs is executed (doubleclick) like any other .exe application and it does what the programmer intended - if the code is ok. I'll try somehow to find a way. Thanks Günter

Hello Referring to FSUIPC Advanced Users.doc, Programs: facilities to load and run additional programs. (I'm plain user of registered FSUIPC, not advanced) In FSUIPC.ini I added [Programs] runif1=READY,C:\Programme\S-Combo\S-Combo.exe and it works flawlesly. However S-Combo requires aditionally an ENTER. So I made a little Windows Scripting Host Prog that executes S-Combo and clicks RETURN. I changed the FSUIPC.ini [Programs] runif1=READY,D:\my prog.vbs This produces FSUIPC Error=193 What kind of error is 193 Any help? Günter

Danke Pete, for the fast reply. This was the solution! With dark red head i must admit having completely overseen the right-hand window side. Everything works normal again. BTW i'm operating FS9 completely from notebook keypad+touchpad, no joystick. Should say, i'm somewhat odd, see only half the light and half the FSUIPC window;-) Günter

Hello in the dropdown list of "Control sent when key pressed" i selected "Aileron center" and assigned it to x-key. However no response in FS9 Then i went through FS9 Options->Controls->Assignments-> ailerons & rudder center and assigned to x-key. Again no response. Other funktions then ailerons&rudder center are assignable to various keys in FS9. How to DELETE a key-assignment in FSUIPC? Please help. Günter

Guten Tag Bought FSUIPC today via simmarket. Received FSUIPC KEY by simmarket. Downloaded FSUIPC v3.2 Inserted FSUIPC.dll in FS9 and FS2002 module folders. Executed FS9 & FSUIPC. Clicked button "Register FSUIPC" and inserted new key. Reject message says "wrong key" What is wrong? Regards, Günter

@ Ciaran I'm also struggeling with VATSIM/IVAO/SquawkBox/HostSB/FSUIPC. Most probably my fault. There is a 3rd VA called FPI. They provide a 'one button solution' without SquawkBox/FSUIPC ceremonies for FS9 online flying Maybe of help for you. Günter

Dankeschön Pete, Peter McLelands Merge patch that adapts Dreamfleet737 to FS9 is based on FSUIPC 3.08 If I may cite Peter: I'm not shure, if FSUIPC 3.20 does same job. Regards Günter
