  1. G'day All I have P3Dv4.2 with MT working a treat with the exception of one minor issue. Inbound 737-800 traffic never land - they descend to between 2000-2500', overfly the airport and continue on track never to be seen again. The MD80 does the same thing. On the ground, these aircraft (incl the Dash 8) remain at the gate forever. There may be other types but these are the main ones. The arrivals isn't so much of a problem but the 'non-departing' traffic is because it jams up all applicable gates on arrival. For the record, I was able to determine this through the purchase of Super traffic Board recently. Anyone have any ideas why this may occur? Thanks in advance Steve

    Exception error

G'day Guys After installing P3DV4 STB (including update) this morning, I received the following 'Exception Error' after 60mins observation. Any helpresolving it is appreciated. Cheers Steve An error occurred. If you are unable to resolve the error, please report this to Flying-W Simulation via www.supertrafficboard.com. 4. Hi Simon Thanks for the quick response. I have removed STB and am in the process of reinstalling P3Dv4 as I write. The files provided by Simmarket are as follows: FWS - SUPER TRAFFIC BOARD V3 FOR P3D STB_4.0.2017.21200_Prepar3d_v4.Setup.exe and STB_V32_P3D_48_Gold.zip (I have since learnt this is for P3DV3.2) STB_3.3.2.10_P3DV2.setup.exe STB_3.4.0.6_Prepar3D_V3.setup.exe Cheers Steve
  5. G'day Simon I purchased STB yesterday from Simmarket and appear to have it working ok - have P3Dv4.2 installed. The files provided for install are as follows: STB_4.0.2017.21200_Prepar3d_v4.Setup.exe and STB_V32_P3D_48_Gold.zip 2 x other files for V2 and V3 The doco was somewhat lacking but the assumption was that the Gold.zip contained the client (installed to the P3D folder) and the V4.Setup subsequently installed. Three questions: 1. Is this correct? 2. I take from your post there are updated files or 3. Have I got it totally wrong and just need to run the current V4.2 file? Appreciate any guidance. Cheers Steve

    MyTraffic 6a for Prepar3D v3 & v4

G'day All Have MT6a up and running in P3Dv4 using the manual xml install. The $64k question is how can this be now applied to register in Vpilot for model matching without adding to the SimObjects folder in P3Dv4 (at the moment I only see the default P3D CRJ for Vatsim aircraft). any assistance greatly appreciated. cheers Steve

A tool to find blocking incompatible schedule

Thanks. Did as you suggested but I do not understand what you mean by "....and from Communicator that MyTraffic\aircraft is added as simbobject entry to FSX.cfg ." Could you please clarify as there is no mention of this in the installation instruction. The only AI Traffic Schedules I have are the ones I listed in my original post. Cheers youngie63

A tool to find blocking incompatible schedule

G'day Guys Apologies for the length of the post. Purchased the MTX 5.4a yesterday (O/No 864418) and having no end of issues trying to get it to work. I know enough to be dangerous around computers without being an expert so that might be half the problem. What I have done to date: Added FSX SDK Ran MTX.exe Added MTX to FSX Scenery Ran TrafficDatabaseBuilder - got quick glimpse of a DOS file before it disappeared. MTX Communicator says 'not yet copied'. Followed the checklist Updated FSX cfg as directed (see attached) Ran 'runonce' MTX FSX Config.txtThis is what I get when I do the 'traffic_bgl' search - no sign of a database anywhere C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\MyTraffic\Scenery\MyTrafficclosed.bgl C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\MyTraffic\Scenery\Mytrafficcommercial.bgl C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\MyTraffic\Scenery\MytrafficGlobal.bgl C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\MyTraffic\Scenery\Mytrafficmil.bgl C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Scenery\World\Scenery\trafficBoats.bgl C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Scenery\World\Scenery\trafficCarriers.bgl A search of other 'traffic bgl's' found 6 x ORBX files (all inactive). Before I uninstall MTX and reinstall do you have any suggestions? Regards youngie63
