  1. Pete. As you pointed out above and stipulated in the manual for widefs.ini options , I was able to get wideclient to run alongside FSX and unable to get ItsYourPlane and Radar Contact to operate due to they being ready made applications. Radar Contact, at first, functioned well. I could call up and load the flight plans from the server but when I hit the Start Radar Contact Button; I then get the notice "IPC request contains bad data." As for ItsYourPlane, it gives me "FSUIPC_ERR_NOTOPEN. The Connection to FUIPC is not open" right from the opening screen. So unless you know of any other options, I will have to look into moving those applications to another computer. I so appreciate the help you have given. Hope you have a great weekend. Regards, James
  2. Thank you Pete. I will look it up and read all about it in the morning. Thank you for your help... Regards, James
  3. Pete, I would like to try it. How do I go about changing the class instance number? Thank you again! James
  4. Thank you Peter. I will look into moving Radar contact and Its your plane to another computer. I was hoping that MAYBE I could get them to work under such a configuration. Regards, James
  5. Hello, Pete, thank you for your reply. While there wasn't any conflict running two instances of FSUIPC, I could not get Radar Contact and Its Your Plane, running on SIM2, to recognize actions performed on SIM1. However, when I ran Radar Contact and Its your plane on SIM2 under wide client and not running FSX, everything work great. Am I to assume correctly that I am trying to have the FSUIPC on SIM2 act like a wideclient, and it really isn't capable of doing that? Regards, James
  6. Hello, I have just upgraded to three computers, two of which are running FSX in support of using WideView. A third computer is now running Project Magenta's Boeing suite. Sim1 is the FSX with FSUIPC server. Sim2 is the FSX with Wideview Sim3 is the Wideclient with Project magenta. Can I install FSUIPC onto Sim2 Computer to run Radar Contact in conjunction with It's Your Plane programs successfully? What I want to achieve is the cockpit sounds to come from SIM1, and all ATC sounds to come from SIM2 where my headphones are placed so as to not have Cockpit atmosphere overlap the ATC communications. Regards, James
  7. Good day Pete, What I had to do is write a trouble ticket at Simmarket ( they have a link for it ). Explained to them that I had purchased FSUIPC under a defuct email adress and had later purchased FSWide under my current and new e-mail adress. ( I had also changed my e-mail profile with them earlier ) The next day, Simmarket sent me a new registration code to my new e-mail adress but this time, they attatched the old email adress in the new code. I hope that I havent blundered in explaining this. Have a good day Pete, James
  8. David, Just sent some examples to you. Please let me know if this works and if you need anything else. Wishing for the best, James
  9. Pete, Just wanted to let you know that Simmarket was able to help me out. Sorry for wasting your time. Best Regards, James
  10. Hi David, Sure thing, working on screen shots of both my PMDG key assignments and FSUIPC assignments right now. James
  11. David, Okay Let me see what I can do for screen shots. My big question now is, what version of PMDG are you running? I know this may seem off the mark, but if I understand correctly, you are saying that PMDG doesnt have any keystroke assignment option for you? I have been running PMDG SU1.3. In FS9, in the menu bar, I can pull down the PMDG tab and set the desired keystrokes there. After assigning the keystrokes I want for my plane, I go into the FUSIPC page and then assign those same keystrokes to the desired buttons and dial on my Go-Flight MCP. Forgive me if I'm going over stuff that you have already done. Just trying to make sure all bases have been covered. Oh, one last question, would a copy of my keystoke assignment sheet help you? I will keep looking here all day to look for your future posts. Best Regards, James
  12. David, This is a long shot, but have you looked at the PMDG key assignments and used their increase and decrease fast keystrokes to help ease the number of key strokes being sent to the computer? I have the exact same set up, PMDG and a bunch of Go-flight equipment including the MCP and have had no problems. I did some BEFORE the update Pete sent me. Another thing that you might want to check, is that you do not have key strokes assigned in FSUIPC that another program is using (FS9) ect. That can cause conflicts too. I had to make up a chart to identify all things using keystrokes just so that I would not create this problem. I hope I have been of some help, and I'm sorry if I havent been. I know the frustration. Best Regards, James
  13. Sorry Pete, I didnt mean to be rude by not signing my above post, Best Regards, James
  14. Good Day Pete, I had purchased FSUIPC under a now expired e-mail adress and when I purchased WideFS today, the registaion number was not being accepted. The current registered FSUIPC has my old e-mail address and the registetion # for the newly purchased WideFS is under my new. Also, Do I need to give you my updated e-mail adress for any future issues? What do I need to do Pete? Thank you
  15. Thank you Pete, Will keep researching. When I find out, I will post what I learn. Best Regards, James
  16. Good Day Pete, I have been considering purchasing the CPflight's MCP, now that they have them in stock. Question is this, using a third party 737, will the CPflight MCP heading, Alt, IAS, and CRS displays match the third party MCP displays using my registered FSUIPC? Thank you for your time. James
  17. Pete I want to thank you for the interm FSUIP. Just got it in the e-mail and looking forward to giving my 737 with the Go-flight stuff a spin afterwards. :D Best Regards James
  18. Pete, First, what an awesome job you do. You have allowed me to take the flight experience to new hights, so many many thanks. Second, I too am using Go-flight GF-TQ6 throttles and using the rotary dials of the RP-48 and MCP. Could I bother you to e-mail me an interm version of FSUIP? Thank you in adavance Pete. Best Regards, James Twomey
  19. Thank you guys for responding, First sorry for not writting back sooner, I was at sea for a while. However, I did look into the USB and found the power managment turned on. I turned it off and have so far had no problems. I would have never thought that to be the problem, so thank you again. Best Reguards, James
  20. Hi Oliver, Thanks for a response. I guess I failed to identify what was happening correctly. I have done those set up procedures you called for. The flight always starts out well with everything working. However, about two thirds of the way into the flight, I loose my keyboard. About a couple of minutes later, I get my keyboard back but then my Go-flight buttons don’t function as programmed. Some will stop functioning; others will activate things not even programmed. Example is rotary dial for my heading will all of a sudden start turning on and off the virtual cockpit mode. Then about ten minutes of that, everything starts working just fine again. Do I have too many inputs? IE keyboard, Go-flight programmed for Non-MCP components and FUSIP (controlling the MCP) :? I really hope that I better explained myself and any help would be greatly appreciated. And thanks for reply. James
  21. Hello, newbie here with a newbie question, I know that Pete is on vacation now, but I'm hoping someone out there can help explain to me what I may be doing wrong. I programmed my Go-Flight MCP with the registered FSUIP and now find that when flying my PMDG 737 I loose my keyboard for a short period of time. After it comes back, then I loose control of my other go flight equipment and isn’t running as configured in the Go-flight assignment program. Is it that I'm asking for to much to be coordinated between the keyboard, Go-flight input and then FSUIP control input for the MCP? Any insight would be greatly appreciated, James Twomey KSEA
