ehi Peter, don't be so aggressive! :? i am a registered user of both FSUIPC and WideFS but didn't remember so i thought i had to pay for WideFS just because of its last release small bug :o just found my Simmarket Customer Service email with both reg. KEYS (August 2003 :wink: ) and since then i have been using what i paid for; all my FS addons are registered for sure! all the best Luigi :wink:

a bit later... following JALTUVE suggestion (thank you) i fixed the problem by modifying the wideclient.ini file adding protocol=UDP; and also switching from ServerIPAddr to ServerName (thank you Pete) now all is ok! As usual 8)

Hi there, i'm a registered owner of FSUIPC (i paid only for FSUIPC but in FS module tab i can read WideFS is registered :shock: Unfortunately, after last versions installed cannot link my client to server pc via WideFS and keep getting this error message: "Establish Link... Maybe running on WideClient, but FS not running on Server, or wrong FSUIPC" Version 3.65 of FSUIPC.dll Version 6.65 of WideFS Now i ask, should i also pay for WideFS registration? never had such problems before of last upgrade thanks in advance for helping Luigi :wink:

Hi Peter, just run a short test and ATIS stop displaying on AdvDisp or Show Text but shows normally in FS (green stripe) also switching LL on/off. Thanks for helping troubleshooting cheers Luigi :wink:

That's exactly what i usually do running Show Text on a cable linked client PC and landing lights clear the text there too :cry: I only can see a blank screen but i have to say that text blinks from time to time until i turn off landing lights no matter if i do it via CTRL-L or gauge switch. After that text messages start displaying again in Show Text window. Yessir, only 800/900 series, not problem at all with 600/700. Asked for help into AVSim PMDG forum. Hi Peter, i'm a registerd owner of your FSUIP. Never had this trouble with PMDG 600/700 series but today i noticed for the first time during my first 800 flight. As soon as landing lights are turned on AdvDisp stops showing any data; and if i turn landing lights off AdvDisp works again. Any clue? I'm the only one? Thanks in advance for helping Luigi ;-)

Thank you Pete, wath i was looking for were graduated visibility settings for better FS2004 performance. You know what i mean: clear, cloudy, rainy, altitude... and so on. Take care Luigi :wink:

Hi folks. Can anyone of you kindly help me in setting both FSUIPC and FSMeteo visibility? What i need are values in FSUIPC.ini (visibility tab) and FSMeteo.ini (disable extended visibility) to make them compatibles regard graduated/reduced max visibility (and save fps!); in other words a step by step guide in setting correct values and options for visibility.
