i am a registered user of both FSUIPC and WideFS but didn't remember so i thought i had to pay for WideFS just because of its last release small bug :o

just found my Simmarket Customer Service email with both reg. KEYS (August 2003 :wink: ) and since then i have been using what i paid for; all my FS addons are registered for sure!

a bit later...

following JALTUVE suggestion (thank you) i fixed the problem by modifying the wideclient.ini file adding protocol=UDP; and also switching from ServerIPAddr to ServerName (thank you Pete)

now all is ok! As usual 8)

Hi there,

i'm a registered owner of FSUIPC (i paid only for FSUIPC but in FS module tab i can read WideFS is registered :shock:

Unfortunately, after last versions installed cannot link my client to server pc via WideFS and keep getting this error message:

"Establish Link... Maybe running on WideClient, but FS not running on Server, or wrong FSUIPC"

Version 3.65 of FSUIPC.dll

Version 6.65 of WideFS

Now i ask, should i also pay for WideFS registration?

never had such problems before of last upgrade

Just checked that folder and the above files are already .OFF :?

i double checked my folders and found my SimMarket order email for Ibiza2005; ORDER Number: 90460

i also read the entire Ibiza and Formentera.pdf but couldn't find anything related to "renaming files"

This is not the first time that this bug occours on my system.

Give a look at attached pictures: what's wrong with Ibiza coastline? What do you suggest?

Is this bug related to some other addon sceneries?

I still think it's the other landclass you use, since i get no

info from other users about this missing texture.

If i understand FScene textures are both seasonal and local and can feed together same worl\texture folder.

Just one question: go back to my previous post (...missing textures...); now, how should i explain that aspect in USA after i have loaded both USA and EUROPE sets?

maybe i have misunderstood the use of different textures sets......

But, how do i swap from Europe to Africa summer set during a flight from northern Italy to Hurghada (Egypt)? Should i simply copy and past my Africa summer set over Europe four seasons in FS9\Scenedb\World\Texture folder?

Do Africa summer set overwrite somewhere Europe summer set? (just in case i'd like to fly back...one day...) it would be nice to have desert textures in Africa and a more green aspect in Europe 8)

as shown in below pic (KLAX area) it seems i miss a texture; so many tweaks, so many troubles...

I'm erroneously using Europe four seasons set in USA but think it should work as well. Shouldn't?

All four season day textures are missing but night texture works fine.

Can anyone please help me troubleshooting?

I have updated jpg's in my original post whit detailed question: in picture n°1 - the white wall and water inland. In picture n°2 - it looks like scenery misses some lands...

But if you say that scenery is ok.....

Sorted out! HP948170.bgl was still active because of my manual installation into a dumb FS2004 folder; now i remember i had same problem with Menorca2004 and had to manually rename maybe HP948180.bgl.

Also, switching to summertime textures look far better than before.

Just one more question on Nice2005: have you noticed that two, i think, identical files are in scenery\Base and in Nice2005\scenery? check for the file LC_049_016.bgl. Which one should i eventually delete?
