I am a relatively new simmer here, please excuse my ignorance!
Computer setup:
PC1=FS2004/Wide FS (multiple monitor)
PC2=Project Magenta RJ PFD and ND
PC3=Project Magenta MCP and FMS
All tied together using latest FSUIPC
I am having a problem with the Project Magenta MCP. THe flight director displays info correctly it seems, though when heading or LNAV mode is selected using the autopilot, it will "chase" the course or heading bug annoyingly (I know this issue was brought up on the PM newsgroups).
Of more concern however, is the fact that when I engage the autopilot using the PM MCP software, the aircraft violently pitches nose down or up, to the limits of its trim tab stops. If I use the FS9 autopilot however, there are no problems with autopilot operation (however the FD and other things don't work with PM which is annoying).
Is there a how-to or FAQ about how to use offsets? I am assuming this has something to do with them....I have very little background with programming!
