Yes OODEFRAG is a defragmentaion software that work really good , but for some reason it is scanning the HD in the background as well. Yes Jim at last i ll be able to enjoy AS. Thanks for your help and support both of you. Sylvain

You ll not belived this i found THE application running in the back ground causing the problem .It s OODEFRAG . Took it out and voila !!! Thanks a million , by reading your last post you wake me up on looking on back ground process . SO BASIC shame on me .I ll know forever. I m Flying !! Sylvain

Hi Peter , Last night deintall FS9 , and delete all related files in The Document and setting folder. Reinstall FS9 and the update , work fine and when i put the FSUIPC.dll 3.40 in the module folder..... Guess what did not work ... The loading process stop 1% at exactly the same place during Object loading. Do i have to go as far as Reformat the HD (Or hang Myself ...)to get rid of the faulty file . What is the FSUIPC is checking exactly to cause this. Is there any way to find the defective file ? Where could be the files that has not been deleted during deinstall ? I know lot it is of questions , I m normally a very good 50 Year Old pro with PC. Not many secrets to me but i got lost this time... If you have any idea please share.. SYlvain

I`ve already try to delete the cong file and it did not help. I just hope to figure out were are all the hiden files are and delete them all. You are right deinstall does not remove everything installed by FS9. Wish me luck !!!! Sylvain

Thanks , I think i ll just do a complete new install of FS9 . You might right about some weather corrup file . I ll let you know if after a fresh install if i m still in the dark. Thanks for your help. Syl

Hello Peter , Here is my problem , I have a new installation fresh of FS9 , no add-on , just the upgrade 9.1 Just bought ActiveSky. Ounce i install the FSUIPC.dll 3.40 in my Module folder , Fs9 crash or stop responding on loading object page go to 1% and stop. Removing the FSUIPC out of the folder solve the problem. Tried to remove the Init file to have it rebuilt but no luck. Can t use AS because of that. Any suggestion will be welcom. Thanks
