I downloaded and paid for an udated of FSUIPC into the modules folder but in FSX/add-ons the software is shown as unregistered and am unable to enter the KEY provided even though I booted up as an administrator.

Hi Peter, Since there is no PH no. assignment for sending and recv Comstby in FS, what method would one use to do so? Thanks for ur reply. regards, Joseph

To add to my confusion I believe there is a problem with my throttles. They are three wire grounded pots. Further to ur query as to the readings -- when the lever is moved to max up the "OUT" value is 16256 and so is the "IN"value. When lever down fully the "OUT" value is -16256 and so is the "IN" value. That zero that i mentioned appears in the "OUT" and"IN" boxes when throttle is in center position. Is this the problem or am I way out in left field? Attached is the FSUIPC INI file. Using Win98, FS2002 1. Version FSUIPC is 3.411 2. cannot get an idle position on any lever position except when at min. -16256. Tried to set idle at 0 position or any where below 0, but the idle setting button does not produce an idle rpm. 3.Lever on quadrant moves in conjunction with the throttle lever. 4.Checked all joysticks in FS Options-controls -- no other devices are assigned to either Trottle 1 or the generic single throttle. 5.No not specific same on all default aircraft.

:?: On page 3 FSUIPC throttle calibration, I set the throttle1 reverse to -16256, and full thrust to 16265. Idle set to -12300..-12150. When trying the throttles , the max position works fine..(N1 91). When throttle set to Idle position the engine rpm decreases ..(N1 38), but when moved to max reverse.. the engine rpm decreases to idle(N1 24) but no reverser action occurrs. Please help! Joseph
