Thanks for your quick response, Pete. I just took my whole arrangement from previous FS--including all of PM and pmSystems--and transferred it to FSX. Apparently, the transfer to FSX isn't straight across. The button I push to turn off the battery actually clears a bit in x66C7, which then does other things in addition to turning off the battery (not all of them I remember right off). I guess I have to look at them one at a time to see what they've changed for FSX. Your monitoring facility in FSUPIC will be a marvelous help in doing that. As I start, I'm wondering if the list of available memory you point out in the old FSUPIC is still "available" in FSX. I wonder if you have a list of memory I can play with without fear of conflict with any other software. I actually only need 32 bytes or so. Second, do you have hard information about the new FSX offsets. I'm using the old list. Finally, do you know of a utility that can monitor many offsets at the same time? That would really help! Hello, Peter. I'm starting out on FSX using my old PM stuff. When I shut down the battery, the landing gear retracts, which creates a big problem on the ground. The airplane skids forever and then catches fire. I'm not making this up. Any ideas? David

Toggle switch is a good idea. I'm not a full-builder, so I work off of just buttons. I'd love to figure out how to use the F/O F/D switch on the Aerosoft MCP747 for that; it's the only available toggle switch I have. I actually have extra throttles on the CH Quadrant. Maybe that's adaptable. Maybe I can simulate keypresses in pmSystems that would do it too. Thanks for the thoughts. Warm regards, David

Thanks, Pete, for your response. I like to be able to switch the sync on and off. It's much easier for me to taxi straight with sync on, for example. It's just that sometimes I forget if I left it on or off, and I thought it would be nice to have an indicator of some sort for myself. Sometimes my need for realism takes a back seat to convenience. If I could control (or at least monitor the status of) the hotkey with an offset, it would be great! Thanks again. Warm regards, David

Pete, I'm trying to set and monitor a throttle sync situation. I can monitor 310A, but I'm having trouble constantly resetting it. I see the hotkey, but I'm having trouble reading the status. It doesn't use 310A. Is there an offset or some other way to read whether the throttle sync hotkey is set? Thanks. Warm regards, David

Pete, I'm no longer getting the same visibility I used to. At high cruise on a clear day (or night), I have trouble seeing the ground. Is there anything in FSUPIC that has changed that (or can help me fix it)? Thanks! David
