I need some help if some would be so kind. What is "cycle view" called when attempting to setup joystick assignments in FSUIPC4, and is the one for open/close doors and just on button setup for gears up/down rather then two individual ones up and then down?

Today I was attempting to make joystick assignments in FSUIPC4, but there are a couple of assignments I can't seem to locate so I thought I'd ask for some help. First there is the "cycle view" and "open/close doors", additionally, is there just one assignment for gear up/down using the same button rather then two, i.e., up button then down button? I'd appreciate any help, thank you.

No Pete I am not rejecting your help and I thank you for your advice offered here, it's seems you make me out to be an idiot who has not read your documentation nor understands the basic fundimentals of FSX. After all I invested in your product with certain expectations of its application, in my particular case it seems to be an end around run to accomplish what I had hoped it would do with minimal effort. Yes, I understand how to set up and calibrate my joystick in FSX and having read your manual, unchecked the calibration in FSX, went to FSUIP and set up the various keys/buttons to see if that would effect a more significant change in want I saw resulting in my flight characteristics. That said,and as I indicated earlier, the control characteristics were erratic. That's all I'm saying. Have a nice day.

Okay I'm going to stop now. It was my initial expectation that FSUIPC was going to enhance and improve every aspect of FSX, obviously I was incorrect in my assumption, but that's okay. As for my knowledge base with Flight Simulator and especially FSX I have been using it since it's inspection and there is very little I don't know about it's seamy underbelly. As a matter of fact I have read pages 45 through 58 in great detail, still does not explain how to calibrate without having to make assignments.

Thank you. I am having difficulty in locating FSUIP calibration, I went to Joystick Calibration tab but I can't seem to find just calibrate with FSUIP function. If as you said I can calibrate using FSUIP can you point me in the right direction. Thank you and you have created a fantastic product, I happy I purchased it.

I purchased FSUIPC a few days ago and am looking forward to using all it's features. I did read the detailed manual and the Quick Start Tutorial, however, and maybe it's because I'm getting on in years, but I attempted to assign my joystick using it and ended up in trouble, i.e. my plane was erratic when attempting to fly it. I really want to avail myself of this utility, but am having great difficulty in using it. I did view a video ( You Tube ) about it's use, it is a little ambiguous, is there another more detailed video somewhere I could watch?
