Suspect NavMan Pin 570 not parsing gpgga string to OnD

Just a freshie in GPS. Having problem with NavMan Pin 570 to send GPGGA string to IntelliWhere OnDemand (Intergraph product) field tool. The software was working fine with the older model NavMan Pin 168 (which is out of production). NavMan Pin570 is NMEA 0183 Compatible and is configure to COM8, Baud Rate 9600, Stop Bit 1, Parity None, Byte size 8. Any idea of what else is required to enable the GPGGA string to be read by OnDemand software? Cheers, Seng
