Sorry Sir that I "wasted" your time. As I got the HOTAS WARTHOG and some weeks before, I was looking into some Forum's to see how I can "work" with this FC-System, for the Basics with it, the Thrustmaster Software is enough, but for "Specials" (functions, buttons and axis assignment,) FSUIPC registered was recommendent all over there. So I bought the FSUIPC licence, with hope to get the right tool and not at least get the needed comprehension and Support. ​I know my english is not the best, I thought my questions are understandable formulated. I'm sorry that they're not. Your question WHY I do this or that so or so : easy answer, I was reading your guides and Manuals to find a solution for a specific function, and I tried what I found, sending you hundred of lines : "Please show me the Logfile then, so I can see". this was your request. "If you want to learn more about using FSUIPC first, why not start with something simpler?" The J35J is a more than 50 years old single engine with afterburner fighter aircraft with mechanical Buttons, Switches, gains etc,etc. my experience on it is 9 years in FS2004 and FSX with FC HOTAS COUGAR , so for me it's normal to implement the new FC HOTAS WARTHOG with its much more Control possibilitis. I got it in the air ! OK with some remaining problems . I'll accept them, as long as I need to find solutions . Gerhard

N in my case N =1 due on single engine aircraft. yesterday I changed some button assignments back from Offset values to FS Controlled; Elevator trim up/dn and Center (3 Buttons) (Elevator Set to 0; as you said in an other posting) Trim Up/Dn is working well with both Solutions, but NOT the Center with Zero, Tried all possible variations but I had to set back this 3 Buttons to Offset values; thats PLEASE note that I'm trying the FIRST TIME to use FSUIPC for aircraft controls ! Before the HOTAS WARTHOG I was simming with HOTAS COUGAR for more than 9 years, making files for my pefered aircraft was easy and practicable for "normal" users BUT the mechanic parts, Switches, Buttons and Potis are at life-end; so I decided to buy a new FC System State of the Art. This values are in the Thrustmaster Warthog Hardware User Manual written and shown, also in the Device analyser tool . Why I tried to do more; the throttle range is shown in FSUIPC4 Joystick calibration and axis assignment with these values minmum -16384, max 16383 20KB upload range here I could'nt send readable pics. NOT working is: running IDLE thrust at 32% value; also NOT working is with mounted AB detent to have +90% thrust at the AB-leverposition ( just lifted up and passed the detent.) the Lever-way from minus values to needed pos values is to short.(**2nd reason for only +values) My Intention ( wishes) is to get the real aircraft values working ! how can I get the IDLE and Afterburner at this values working? with only positive values ? or with use the FSUIPC values -16384 fullstop and + 16383 value max thrust. Hello Pete, Many thanks for your quick Reply. As I said before 'm a total newbie using FSUIPC (reg) and at same time on the new HOTAS WARTHOG FlightController System. (I think you know the Warthog). My Trial-mix of Button-use is a result of reading and reading the Manuals, and I can set back to FS Controlled if better. In SAAB J35J FSX aircrafsimt the X;Y;Z axis are on stick and throttle, all useable Switches,pushbuttons,gains, and other Levers are mouseclick controlled (config.gau and ini (XML and LVARS & Floats) In the real aircraft (I know the real J35) throttlebaseare are many Switches and other Levers; so my opinion is to assign their functions to the switches and levers at the Warthog Throttlebase. (Batterie; Main Fuel valve; Alternator ;Engine Starter; Gears, Speedbrake, Dragchute,) These are working with my trial- Setup, for some others I could'nt find FS Control or Offset solution. I whould like to get an Spring loaded Switch UP=On, MIDDLE =0, DN=Off , to it's correct work, whereby UP pos must be held for min 2 seconds. wether (P) H1,31,Cx02003B78,x00001 nor (H) P1,31,C66242,1 are correct. Throttle (Z axis) yes there are no detentes like Flaps, but mechanical detentes (lift and move lever) for Idle and Afterburner, my wish is to use them with aircraft correct values (Idle ~ 30% Burner +90%). "newbie thoughts" use the reverser function (not available in J35J) vice versa as idle and the burner detent as it is; with my trialt set Idle pos -11141 burner 92% 15073 I did'nt get a practicable solution; the leverway between​ Idle and Burner I never got +15073 value so the burner ON I reached far passed the detent. [buttons]: mixed settings 4=P0,2,C66611,0 6=R0,6,Cx42000BC0,xC0010040 On J35J Panel the Main Alternator (Generator) is a spring suspended Switch, Upper postion ON must be hold for 2 seconds minimum; Normposition 0 Middle; Lower positon is OFF and working immediately when switched down (originally working at mouseclick in + and - window)and knob movement (well done by mouseclick) Problem: my choice to use this switch with one off the Warthog Throttlebase switches is : FSUIPC Function " Toggle Main Alternator" 46=H1,31,Cx02003B78,x0001 it workes, but not as it's planned,the switch knob remains in his middle position; I've to do a singleclick at +, then the functions up-ON/ down-Off are working well, but without knob movement, works just as long as the aircraft is powered.
