  1. hi - I've had the same issues and have switched to a gigabit network on all PC's/switch - this has made it much better.... I've noticed that the "mini pause" happened when there was a change of graphic data - ie, if I selected WXR or STA on the efis - anyway, the gigabit seems to have taken care of it - looks like a network card / setting thing...

  2. HI Peter

I'm haveing a strange (to me at least) problem with my PM MCP program. If I launch it from anything other than the actual program icon, it will not fire up the MCP hardware (FDS G1) - if i use run ready, or a shortcut, the program runs, but the mcp hardware remains dead -

    and

I've run PMfilecheck and I'm getting this report: it shows me five connections to PCSIX - is this normal? PCSIX runs the PM CDU and has the NetDir - I've been having problems here too, with the MCP hardware freezing up occasionally -

    Thanks!

    Farrokh

  3. Hi Peter -

I'm using Phidgets (8/8/8) cards to interface the pots on my cockpit - the pots are the original ones (one on each throttle, flaps, elevator) from the 747 shell I'm using, they work fine and the Phidgets software interfaces them with MSFS - however, the FSUIPC options menu/joystic calib window does not reflect the changing values when I move the pots - in effect, I can't use the options in fsuipc like the various response curvers, which are great for fine tuning - Does this mean that if I use Phidgets, these fsuipc goodies will be unavailable? Or have I not switched on something..

    Cheers,

    Farrokh.
