  1. Hello I badly need some help. I have just had a horrible run in with Rex sky force 3d. it had a problem with a .net frame work error, i decided to run active sky for p3d instead & that then had a boot strap hicup. I now have a serious problem with fsuipc, at first p3d would not load to any airport in europe it would load the scenario then 4 seconds later a CTD. i found that if i disabled the FSUIPC5.DLL file in the modules folder to stop the exe.xml loading fsuipc then the sim would start normally. Unfortunately nothing i have tried so far has helped, in fact i just made it much worse, thinking that it must be a sim connect problem i formatted the sim drive & reinstalled p3d completely from scratch. I cleaned up the rest of the machine first though removing all the files and folders to do with p3d from the OS drive . Now if fsuipc is installed the sim has stopped launching at all. I cant even get to the scenario screen, I fear that a complete reinstall of the win OS drive is the only way to fix this. I would appreciate any help with this if anyone has a fix Thank you Tim specs No aircraft / scenery addons at all fsuipc5.122 P3dv4.1 win 7 pro asus mobo intel 6850 cpu 32 gig 3200 corsair memory asus gtx 1080 graphics
  2. Hello Pete i have 4.968 for p3dv3 Thank you for the help. I have installed the old pmdg737 into p3dv3 just like I had it when everything worked. but macro is not working macro is my preferred way to use buttons / switches, my farther who is good with software nor myself can understand how the information found in the pmdg . H file is going to be used in fsuipc4. There doesn't seem to be a way of getting that info into a list that's advisable in the sim. sorry if this sounds dumb. Can you think of any reason why fsuipc4 macro method would stop working. remember I would just like it as it was. Ie p3dv3 and the old 737ngx . could there have been a change in the windows 7 registry. I have now removed p3dv4 from my computer. just in case fsuipc4 was getting confused but macro is still not working. I am using fsuipc 4.968 p3dv3.4 & 737 ngx VERSION v1.10.6461 Thanks Pete Tim
  3. MOVED FROM "USER CONTRIBUTIONS" SUBFORUM! Hello I seem to have somehow broken my fsuipcv4 .i have a overhead panel for my 737 i use pmdg 737ngx as my sim and i have been using petes fsuipc to map the buttons on the overhead using the mouse macro function .yes i know pmdg have given us the .h list but i have no clue i am a welder not a programer . Any way its stooped working ,i installed p3dv4 and pmdg 737 for v4 and fsuipc5 , i have both p3dv3 and p3dv4 installed at the same time and i did have the 737 installed for v3 and v4 of p3d as well . I have removed all pmdg from both sims and both fsuipc from both sims then reinstalled the 737 into p3dv3 making sure it was the old version for p3d v2 -v3 & installed full reg fsuipc4 again but only in p3dv3 . I don't know what i have done but mouse macros still doesn't work . i used to be able to get the overhead done in about 30min so i know how , but here is what i am doing from fresh just in case Ive gone daft. start up the sim run ngx close sim, restart sim open fsuipc from menu click buttons tab click make mouse macro give it a name, like " A ovhd " click ok click ok so now i am back in the left seat , I do shift 6 to get the 2d panel of the fwd overhead and then mouse click on a switch i normally start from the left so it would be landing lights , now fsuipc usually give the green input text at the top left of the screen and i can give the landing lights a name and hit return then repeat etc etc. but nothing is happening there is no text & no sign of life . I know this did work so the pmdg click spots do allow macros , maybe installing the most resent fsuipc5 and pmdg 737 for p3dv4 has killed it. please can some one help Thanks Happy
  4. Hello Pete I installed the up to date fsuipc4 then went it too the cfg & changed [JoyNames] AutoAssignLetters=no to read yes i noticed the cfg then showed theBodna boards and everything else with letters as well as numbers. as you said it should be .i then re assigned the overhead switches .& they all worked as they should But this time when i came out of the sim then restarted the sim & loaded the last flight all the switches on the overhead still worked properly. Thank you Pete best regards Tim
  5. thank yoy very much . I have got the most up to date version now i will let you know how it gose. Tim

  7. Hello. I am here to ask for help please with the switches on my overhead panel. I have had these working for some time but for a little while now after a rebuild and the usb positions got mixed up i cant seen to get the button assignments to stay put. i will try to explain . when i now do the mouse macros for the switches on the overhead panel they all work perfectly until i restart the sim p3d, then all the switches are wrong ? some don't work at all and some like say aft fuel pump 1 will now switch on the right side window heat . i have tried to do this three time in a row now and im getting no were fast do i have to do some thing that i am missing . i have looked in the user pdf's but to be honest its a bit beyond me i dont realy know what most of it means. This is my way maybe its wrong, first i start p3d then go into fsuipc then the buttons tab i click on make macros in the bottom left then give the macro a name like A OVHD click ok then ok im back in the cockpit now. then i open the 2d panel of the overhead and then click on a switch & type on the green line eg aft fp 1 on that would be aft fuel pump 1 on. I do this for all the switches on the over head .I dont come out of fsuipc for each switch & then back in again they are all done in one go one after the other. all the switches will work properly at this point however if i close p3d then restart the sim up again all the work just done to map all the switches is undone somhow & jumbled up i must be doing this wrong some how dose any one have an idea what is going on. thanks Tim aka happy but thinking of changing it to sad man
  8. Thank you very much pete. I have found those files now. happy flying Tim
  9. Hello everyone I have got myself in a real mess with mouse macros . I had most of the overhead switches working using macros just fine however after a move with the sim the hole lot some how got completely mixed up i have had a go at getting it sorted but it is a nightmare & I have now given up. I need to start again it would be faster. My question is dose anyone know how to delete the macro text in the drop down lists in fsuipc so i can start from scratch. I have got rid of buttons and keys in the ini file but I still have all the text from the macros like ( fuel pump left on ) etc & its very confusing. I have looked in the docs but i havent found the answer yet. can anyone help me please Thank you very much Tim
  10. thank you very much for replying so fast pete. ah if fsuipc hasnt any outputs im sunk then. Yes the open cocpits card has software sort of its the sioc script thingy they use for thier hardware. but i would need two master cards to make it work. may be i could get them installed and still use fsuipc for the switches. I use the oc4bav3 software from roar kristensen instead of the sioc at the moment becawse i am useing pmdg 737 in the p3dv3.1 sim and the sioc is old & out of date & of course i cant write scripts
  11. hello sorry for the daft quetion but i wonderd if anyone knows how to phisicaly connect fsuipc to the annunciators on my 737 overhead panel.I have found the offsets mapings in the docs but there i am stuck i am not a programer so software is just double dutch to me. i have got all the switches and rotory switches working with fsuipc and leo bodnar boards. I have an open cockpits usb output card so i guese my quetion should be how do i get fsuipc to talk to the usb output card to get the lights to come on
