Palm m130 and GPSout

Hi,

I acquired a free (!) Palm M130 the other day. I know it's not the most up to date model, but this is my first one of these things. I was thinking of trying to set it up to use GPSOut, as a 'stand alone' moving map when in FS. Unfortunately, I'm a total newbie to this (although I run 3 machines and WideFS) and have stumbled at the first hurdle. Where are people getting their mapping software from? Are there any free sources?

Lastly, is there a total newbies guide to getting this going?

Hi,

I don't know if your craddle is via USB or COM, but GPSout only works via COM port.

Mine connects via USB.....Oh dear, I was looking forward to trying that out :cry:
