GPSout and X-plane

Can GPSout work with X-plane?

Is there an equivalent program if not?

I would like to analyse the track flown on external mapping software.

The latest versions of X-Plane - 8.15, .16... have this feature already built in. Look in the pages where you select joystick/external COM ports. Don't need GPSOUT. GPSOUT only works with Microsoft Flight Sim.
