Will FSUIPC help me ?

Hi everyone, I own an "old" CH Flight Sim Yoke "gameport version" with its pedals. Since my PC doesn't have any game port, I connected it through a gameport/USB converter. The OS (XP) sees it as "USB device", all axes work fine, so do a couple of buttons but that's it. Will I be able to use all the features if I interface it to FS X directly through FSUIPC?
