Key Press does not Work When Mapping

I have FSUIPC and it seems to work just fine except Mapping Key Presses.

I have FS9 SP1 running on Vista Home

I have in the past mapped key presses and created macros with no problem. Now when I Press Key in the Press Key field nothing happens. It appears the keyboard map has disappeared. I have looked through the user guide and Advanced user guide and found nothing that would fix this.

I do know that I have VAFS4 that is using FSUIPC.

Is there a .cfg or .ini that may be missing or corrupted?

You are pressing SET first before you press the key aren't you? I know it sounds like a stupid question but I'm sure you wouldn't be the first person to have missed this step.
