FSUIPC upgrade and calibaration. Need to redo all ?

Hi Pete,

We talked some time ago, and I complimented you on your work. Maybe you remember. Anyway, all works absolutely perfectly now, but I want to run the Krosa.it ssp file, to operate Saitek Switch Panel (gear lever, essentially). The ssp file tells me I have to upgrade FSUIPC versions. No problem there. But, do I have to re-do all calibrations and settings ? Or does FSUIPC upgrade remember all existing calibrations and settings ?

No you do not have to do it all again, the file FSUIPC.ini is where all your settings are stored and it will remain unchanged when you upgrade versions. If you want to don your tin foil hat and be absolutely certain that you don't loose your settings you can make a back up of the ini file and store it in another location for safe keeping if you wish, it really isn't necessary though.

Dear Andydigital: many thanks. OK, will get this done tomorrow, and hopefully report full success. I will make a copy of the .ini file as you suggest. But meanwhile, thanks for the confirmation and good news that settings and calibrations are kept.
