neilb
Hi, I am having a problem. I have had to reload Windows XP so I have also had to reload FSX but I keep getting this message and I don't know why, although it's a long time since I had to re-install don't recall having this problem before. The message is " Your FSX Installation is incorrect! The version of SimConnect will not run FSUIPC4 you may need to repair the installation to rectify ths first! As I said it's quite a while since I installed FSX and FSUIPC but I don't remember having any problems, would appreciate it if someone could help. Thanks. JSkorna
Hi, Please make sure you have installed at least SP1 for FSX and hopefully SP2/Acceleration as well.
neilb
Thanks for the reply, Yes I have done that, I have just re-installed the SDK see if that works. Thanks. Neil
JSkorna
Hi, Just installing the SKD will not do anything becuase you would still need to run the SimConnect installer. The better way is to uninstall FSX working backwords until you have your base FSX, then install SP1 and SP2/Acceleration.
