I bought FS instant Approach from FSpilot shop and received the 4 sets of numbers to register. I also downloaded FSUIPC4 version 4.86. FSUIPC4 is asking for a 12 character Key but where is it and how do I find it? I cannot get the (page 14 of the FS Instant Approach manual) on screen to enter my 4 sets of numbers to register.I cannot get past the 12 character key page. Look forward to any solutions.

Jim,

You only need to register FSUIPC if you intend to use its paid for features. If you are only using it to interface another application to the sim, you do not need to register it and can just not register on that page.

Full details on the difference between registered and unregistered FSUIPC (as well as full installation instructions) are in the downloaded zip file. You can purchase a license, if you want to, here: http://secure.simmarket.com/advanced_search_result.php?keywords=FSUIPC

However, I strongly suspect that you won't need a license to run FS Instant Approach and can bypass registration.

Cheers,

Hi there Jim:

You just need to copy and paste the registration codes given by Pilot Shop into the 4 fields at the credits screen of the FSIA program. Remove all brackets or commas separating the 4 fields so that a key like this (this is not a real key of course):

(25224472) (52647544) (26465255) (0624-4340-C37D-F5C1-9900)

is copied and pasted like this:

25224472

52647544

26465255

0624-4340-C37D-F5C1-9900

That's all you need to do. ;)
