Registering Both FSUIPC4 and Widescreen

Hi,

I just purchased and installed the license for FSUIPC4.91 over my unregistered version 4.90. I am not familiar with Widescreen, but noted that it was included with the FSUIPC4 download. On the registration page I selected BOTH before entering my key. It appears FSUIPC installed correctly but in the box it says in order to use WIDESCREEN it still has to be registered. What is Widescreen and was it supposed to be registered along with FSUIPC4, or is that a separate purchase even though it is included with FSUIPC4?   Thanks.   Tom

It's called WideFS which has nothing to do with widescreen, it's a communication protocol that allows you to run supported external applications on a non FS computer, things like moving maps and such. A read of the manual will explain more. But yes WideFS does have to paid for its not free, the program is built into FSUIPC4, it was a separate module in FSUIPC3 for FS9 and earlier.
