cjones Posted September 14, 2003 Report Share Posted September 14, 2003 Even though I am still using FS2002, to be fair to you I've tried the latest version (3.07) as you support this one and not the 2.x :D Anyhow... here is the problem. I was getting some unexplained crashes with some 3rd party aircraft so I decided to do a reinstall of FS2002 to a new folder .../FS2002_2 everything went well, until I copied over FSUIPC to the new directory. It would crash and give me an error... FSUIPC provides this log... ********* FSUIPC, Version 3.07 by Pete Dowson ********* User Name="" User Addr="" FSUIPC not user registered WIDEFS not user registered, or expired Module base=01B70000 ClassOptions: UIPCMAIN=FF7F, FS98MAIN=FF7F, FS2KMAIN=FF5E WeatherOptions(Orig)=0000B027[0000B027] InitDelay: 3 seconds 1923 System time = 16:04:43 Internal Debug Code 0 1933 E:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FS2002_2\ 3976 FLIGHTS\OTHER\FLTSIM.flt 4056 AIRCRAFT\c172\Cessna172SP.air If I remove FSUIPC.dll from the folder, FS loads fine. I'm not sure how it would be related (since PIC767 doesn't use FSUIPC) but I installed the wrong patch for PIC767 and that seemed to cause a problem!
