Bob S
Pete; I'm running FS2002 on a Win10 (64 bit) desktop. Yeah, I know, but it runs great and I don't mind old scenery unless I fly into it so I'm pretty happy with the set-up. I'm trying to run a WX program to update my weather and the program runs BUT it needs a registered version of FSUIPC to connect to FS. So, I paid for a key last night via simMarket and did a fresh install of FSUIPC3. The problem is that the install program won't accept the 12 "digit" key. I've tried pasting in the key and entering it manually but no joy. I've also tried running the install as Admin and tried some compatibility settings and still no joy.The log lists a type 40 error, if that helps. Would you have any ideas or am I S.O.L.? Bob S
Well, never mind. 🤣 I found the problem after a lot of eye strain. One missing letter in my e-mail addy was the culprit. I'm registered again. 😎
