Logging with FSUIPC

Recommended Posts

Hello Pete!

I changed all my equipment from FSX to P3Dv4 and am now on the way to do all installations and setups from scratch. One problem occured with RXPv2 GNS 530 and the emutey GNS530 hardware. I have the licensed FSUIPC version as requirded and basically all together works nearly fine BUT...

When rotation the "C" volume knob of the hardware device to the left P3Dv4 switches through all views (cockpit, tower, etc), rotation the "C" volume knob of the hardware device to the right P3Dv4 activates brakes.

The same phenomena I do have on the right inner knob. This knob switches through all the submenus of the GNS but in paralel it switch through the views of P3Dv4.

I thought I deleted all button assignement not needed but it still continues this malfunction. I tried other assignements to the switches but no success.

To find out what the hardware switches really send to the simulator I thought I could use the LOGGING of FSUIPC. I marked SWITCHES AND KEYPRESSES in FSUIPC and started logging, but I cannot find any recorded swich or keypress actions.

What do I wrong?

regards

Georg

Hello Pete!

Forget about my message and do not waste time on it. I already found a solution.

For sure there had been some strange key assignements in the P3Dv4 keyboard shortcuts. I found them after a detailed and concentrated search. I deleted this double entries and everything works fine.

regards

Georg
