Just installed FCR and got the first proper Windows (11) bluescreen I've seen in more than a year

So this didn't turn out as I was hoping.

Yesterday I bought FCR v5 and today, I was doing my first flight using it in MSFS and the PMDG 737. Suddenly midflight, my PC crashed with the kind of bluescreen you had every now and then many years ago much more common with previous Windows versions. Now using Windows 11, I can't even recall when I saw a BSOD last time until today.

Based on how I haven't done any changes to my system in addition to installing FCR plus that extra codec it suggested during the install process, it's very easy to think of FCR (or that codec which got installed) being the culprit and causing the BSOD I just suffered from.

Unfortunately, I didn't think of grabbing a picture of the exact error message on the blue screen.

Anyone else had similar issues?
