    Your runway is clear if:
    a) the take-off or landing process on the crossing runway is completed. (You get the -successful takeoff/landing- message plus your 10 points.) It doesn't matter if this happens before or after the intersection.
    b) (as @hexzed wrote) the starting or landing plane has passed the intersection.

In the case of a), however, there is the possibility that minus points will still be awarded if there is no way to exit (for the arriving aircraft) in front of the intersection and an the aircraft passes over the crossing runway while you have already given take-off clearance on your starting runway.

Sorry, but isn't B the scenario we are talking about? QFA444 started its roll past/after the cross runways at intersection E. It cant possibly be a conflict with a landing on 09.

  2. HI Everyone,

Im trying to work out why i got a Runway alert on this scenario

    https://www.dropbox.com/s/pt6ceoo8qc6z9b5/Untitled.jpg?dl=0

QFA132 has landed on 4runway 09 and is still in the roll out.

QFA444 was cleared to take off runway 16 @ Echo.

So no collision possibly exists that i can see.

Did i do something wrong, or is there a bug with the intersection departure?

Lol, I actually removed that command from the speech to text file because I saw the FAA manual was against it. I have now added it back to mine, and the one I posted because if Australian regs say its ok to live dangerously, then I say it would be un-Australian not to take advantage of it. :-)

Listen to YBBN on liveatc, and you'll hear them give the instruction all the time :) Its normally along the lines of "behind the landing a320 line up and wait"

  4. Hi All,

I wanted to validate if this is something Im doing wrong, or a potential bug

On TIST, i've been queuing aircraft up at 10@C where they can handle the shortened runway. Ive noticed that if i give them an instruction for "Aircraft X, Runway 10, line up and wait behind next landing aircraft", they actually start to line up as soon as the landing aircraft touches down on the threshold, which is well before 10@C.. This results in the First aircraft starting to line up, and the landing aircraft smashing into them, which is bad for my points.

Am i doing something wrong here, or is this a bug?
