    The P in the assignments line indicates Press - all button assignments are preceded by one of P, H, R or U for the button action (Press, Hold, Repeat, Unpress or release). See the Advanced User guide for the format of button definitions.

    Yes, try that - and if that doesn't work, use the number that M is mapped to.

    John

    Useful info that too, that I should have noticed in the advanced users manual. Thanks.

  2. Hi John

    Can you assist please. I have a dodgy joystick button which is stopping me assign other buttons because it keeps

    populating the assignments box when trying to assign.

    In my ini file I have three [Buttons} sections. One is for all aircraft and two are for specific aircraft.

    At the top of each section I have put the line "IgnoreThese=PM.7" ,  but this hasn't worked. When I open up

    my ini file to check that the lines are still there, the one under the all aircraft list is missing, Is FSUIPC7 deleting this on

    startup and is this the problem or is there something in my syntax that is wrong?

    I also tried PM,7 as the buttons in the rest of the list are written this way but that didn't work either.

    many thanks

    Keith

  3. Ah,

    Apologies,I assumed that the Hvars.lst file was an FSUIPC7 file because it sits in the main FSUIPC7 folder but I guess it must be something to do with the LINDA interface that I use.

    I'll go back into my hole!

    🥵

  4. Hi,

    I don't know if it is just the aircraft I am working on but I don't see any Hvars listed.

    I am working with the Asobo Longitude. In particular I am trying to locate the event/lvar/Hvars which operates the Bus Tie switch.

    I looked in the Hvars.lst file in the main FSUIPC7 folder but it is empty. The Lvars.lst is populated ok.

    Thanks

    Keith

  5. Hi,

    I have been using fsuipc7 in conjunction with the Mobiflight WASM module since as soon as they became available for MSFS.

    I wish to update FSUIPC to the latest version and have read that there is now a WASM module authored by John Dowson.

    If I update to the latest version of FSUIPC does the WASM module now come with it or do I

    have to download it separately?

    Once installed, should I delete the Mobiflight wasm module?

    Many thanks

    Sorry

    But it does not work (nothing happen) with the g1000 event.

    I have a events.txt in C:\Users\Guillaume\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft Flight Simulator\Packages\Community\mobiflight-event-module\modules

    I have a GNS3000.evt in c\fsuipc (last version)

    I have programme fsuipc

    Does it work for you in the TBM930 ?Capture.PNG.2a2e56c6203674303d336bc4759d4a45.PNG

    GNS3000.evt 2.05 kB · 0 downloads events.txt 10.46 kB · 0 downloads

    Inside your community folder you should have the following....

    A folder called "mobiflight-event-module

    Inside this folder you should see a folder called "modules", plus a file called layout.json and a file called manifest.json.

    Inside the modules" folder you should have a file called "StandaloneModule.wasm"

    Hope this helps

    Hello

    Unfortunately This one does not exist for the G3000

    I try all these and they don't work (I use Mobiflight wasm and the event file for fsuipc)

    171=MobiFlight.AS3000_TSC_Horizontal_TopKnob_Large_INC
    172=MobiFlight.AS3000_TSC_Horizontal_TopKnob_Large_DEC
    173=MobiFlight.AS3000_TSC_Horizontal_TopKnob_Small_INC
    174=MobiFlight.AS3000_TSC_Horizontal_TopKnob_Small_DEC
    175=MobiFlight.AS3000_TSC_Horizontal_TopKnob_Push_Long
    176=MobiFlight.AS3000_TSC_Horizontal_TopKnob_Push
    177=MobiFlight.AS3000_TSC_Horizontal_BottomKnob_Small_INC
    178=MobiFlight.AS3000_TSC_Horizontal_BottomKnob_Small_DEC
    179=MobiFlight.AS3000_TSC_Horizontal_BottomKnob_Push
    180=MobiFlight.AS3000_TSC_Vertical_BottomKnob_Small_INC
    181=MobiFlight.AS3000_TSC_Vertical_BottomKnob_Small_DEC
    182=MobiFlight.AS3000_TSC_Vertical_BottomKnob_Push_Long
    183=MobiFlight.AS3000_TSC_Vertical_BottomKnob_Push
    184=MobiFlight.AS3000_TSC_Vertical_BottomKnob_Large_INC
    185=MobiFlight.AS3000_TSC_Vertical_BottomKnob_Large_DEC
    186=MobiFlight.AS3000_TSC_Vertical_TopKnob_Large_INC
    187=MobiFlight.AS3000_TSC_Vertical_TopKnob_Large_DEC
    188=MobiFlight.AS3000_TSC_Vertical_TopKnob_Small_INC
    189=MobiFlight.AS3000_TSC_Vertical_TopKnob_Small_DEC

    For the map zoom you dont need to use one specifically for the g3000 as it uses the g1000 event. This is why it works with the longitude.

    Hello

    I am looking for the event to move the knob of the GTC580 for the G3000 (for the TBM930): to zoom the map .

    I try all the event possible (with knob inside) and they don't work

    Is all the event are working ?

    187=MobiFlight.AS3000_TSC_Vertical_TopKnob_Large_DEC

    Hi, i don't use the TBM but for the correct event for  Longitude and G1000 is....

    AS1000_MFD_RANGE_INC

    and

    AS1000_MFD_RANGE_DEC

    Try this one.

    Ah, looks like there's my facepalm moment. I definitely missed that requirement, I will conduct a test right away!

    And yes, that did fix it. Apologies for missing out on that, I'm sure it's been mentioned somewhere, and thank you for your help, I'm now able to configure everything accordingly!

    Well done. 👍

  10. At the bottom of my ini file I have the following.....

    [EventFiles]

    0=Mobiflight-Events2

    1=Mobiflight-Events1

    You only need one of these two lines if you are only using one of the EVT files from Mobiflight. I assume also that you have installed the Mobiflight WASM folder in the community folder.

    Hope this helps and sorry for butting in John! I thought that you may be busy

    Regards

    Keith

  11. This bug can be quite useful. The bug only affects events assigned to an "always on" type switch and only if the event is assigned in MSFS. The bug is not triggered if you assign all of your controls in FSUIPC7 (thanks John).

    To make use of the bug I have 1 switch (a physical toggle switch) assigned directly in MSFS . When i want larger increments for alt select, heading bug select, autothrottle speed select etc i flick my switch then switch it off again after i have selected my altitude or whatever.

    Regards

    Keith

  12. I have now tried this with FSUIPC7 and it works a treat. Just using evt file No1 at the moment. There are still more functions to add but I am sure they will come. I managed to assign the G1000 map range knob which works fine.

    Personally speaking I need it too for the Longitude but patience is a virtue.

    Thanks John for the info on installing it.

    Regards

    Keith

    Yes.

    You need to install and run it initially, to enable beta updates and to download the WASM module. Once that is done and you have placed the WASM folder in the community folder, you don't need to run Mobiflight anymore.

    Just follow the instructions here.

    John

    Thanks John for clarifying.

    I'll try this tomorrow.
