@Flyfox Glad it's working for you.
-
Could it be something with your controller? Do you have any mapped keys? If so, I would clear all of that.

Glad this is solved for you.

Is your weight and balance correct on that E175?

There are a series of YouTube tutorials that may help. One of them focuses on the MCDU. Here's a second option. Have you increased the zoom factor in Adobe Reader to allow you to see the images closer? Once you start learning the MCDU, feel free to ask questions here.

@AIRWILCO, that is an interesting problem. Clearly it is not a bug that everyone with this product is experiencing. Is your autopilot on when you select heading mode? Do you see HDG as a lateral mode on top of the primary flight display when selecting heading mode? Are you using your mouse to set the heading? If not, what? Are you experiencing any other problems besides the problem with the heading?

@Matp1, While I don't know precisely why you are experiencing this, I have some suggestions and questions for you: On your MCDU, press MENU, the press the line select key (LSK) for MISC MENU, then the LSK for FLT CONFIG, then type 15 on the MCDU's scratch pad and then press LSK for BANK ANGLE. Does the airplane behave the same way after you do this? Is your airspeed too high during your approach making the airplane miss the turn? Does this happen in all "approaches with sharp turns"? Is the BANK button in the lateral guidance controls pressed? It should not. It could also be a limitation of the simulation as implemented. David

@Vorden, ensure your controller is calibrated. Also ensure you have set the desired altitude and that the FMC has all the required values for vertical navigation.

@Matp1, Like scoobflight said, what you are seeing could be based on a faulty installation of the Legacy. Perhaps a problem with how the airplane is trying to access the gauges. I also suggest to uninstall and reinstall the Legacy. If you use Windows 10 or above, suggest running the installer as an administrator. I have not installed the Legacy, but be alert for the installer asking permission to access gauges files. I do not know if it does this, but just in case it does, say yes. Please post here if this works or you need more help.

@justplanemad, understood. It appears that it's required in the simulated aircraft for the doors 2..4 to work. A misunderstanding by the airplane or gauge builder?
-
@ibraheemfauzi, If your engines are off, ensure that on the overhead panel, ELEC PUMP A is set to ON before you use the SHIFT+E+n (where n is 1..4). Note that it's SHIFT and not CTRL.

@l3ubba While I don't know the cause, but I have the same file (P3DDllXml.exe.config) in the same folder. It's not an executable file but an XML file. I'm not experiencing the crash. Just in case it helps, the file contents are: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?> <configuration> <startup> <supportedRuntime version="v4.0" sku=".NETFramework,Version=v4.6.2" /> </startup> </configuration> Does your crash happens while landing at other airports? Are you running P3D in administrator mode?

@Wrightt, Although I can confirm that this click spot is listed on page 26 of the E-jets v3 manual, it's not implemented, and I don't know why. It was implemented that way in earlier versions. There are two other ways to activate the TO/GA mode: (1) click on the button on the rear of the engine one throttle (see attached pic), or (2) use the Joystick tab in the EMB Configuration app to map a button in your controller. I know the manual also says on page 30 that "The TOGA buttons are not modeled" but that's not the case. Though a good manual, quality control is poor. Hope this helps.

@Pstlpete, The 2d panels have to be coded in the airplane. Most airplanes these days no longer have that. One thing they do have is the ability to display several gauges in 2d, like the MCDU and screens. You could make those pop up with SHIFT+number combinations. One way to almost make a 2d panel would be to set your main view forward and pop up as many gauges as you need. See page 5 in the E-jets manual in section Sub-Panel Windows. By your handle, do you live near STL? If so, me too. Regards, David

@pdeans, I just use the LOAD FS FPL feature in the MCDU. Both LNM and FSC can export/save flight plans in P3D format into the "...\Documents\Prepar3D v5 Files" folder. For more information, see page 37 of the E-jets manual. David

I don't know if this matters, but I would like to let Feelthere know that their customers are using the E170/190/175/195 in P3D4 and 5. These are the same customers who have or will transition to MSFS and consider buying more Feelthere products. I understand the money is now in MSFS, but please don't forget your old customers. It wouldn't hurt to repair small things in the existing products while developing scenery, etc., for MSFS. For example, the weather radar, making the copilot's FMS gauge have a 2d version, just like the pilot's, etc. There are more complex or perhaps out of Feelthere's control fixes, like cockpit lighting and clarity on the main autopilot's button labels that would make this a truly enjoyable (the only one available for P3D) Embraer jet simulation. Dave Customer since FS9

Thank you @sho69607. I moved my settings to 4xSSAA and it can better read the button labels.

Thank you @Biggles2010. Good to confirm it's not something on my end. Hope Feelthere addresses this issue.

Image quality already at 4096x4096, AA: 8xMSAA, TexFil: Anisotropic 16x Display: NVIDIA GTX 1080Ti at 2560x1440x32 resolution VSync: Off (I have a G-SYNC ROG PG279Q monitor) Every other panel of every other addon airplane I have looks good. Figure it's something different with this addon.

Just purchased the E170/190, thank you for the recent sale. Using P3Dv4.5. It's hard to read the button labels (see photo). They don't look as clear as in the tutorial YouTube videos. Is there anything I need to do to P3D to improve the button label readability?
