Since I am on the forum I may as well ask about something I am trying to do without much success to date. Since my VA group has a multi flight every week I am trying to create flights from airport to airport with landings at various airports in between i.e. flying from A to D with landings at B and C in between. It appears that this is not possible at the moment. Having read the manual several times looking specifically for this feature I have not been able to find a solution for it. Can you tell me if the program provides for such planning or if not is this something that could be implemented in the (near) future. We are heaving a lot of fun flying short distances in small planes as a group and being located in British Columbia Canada we fly a lot in our local area which covers a lot of ground as you can image

Hello Volker first of all let me say I am happy with my application of FSCommander and impressed with the amount of work you and Felix have put in to create this program. I do have a problem since installing it however, that being that I have lost all my static display of AI aircraft at Schiphol and it makes no difference what time or date I use they have simply vanished and as I am sure you will agree there is no time that Schiphol airport would have absolutely no traffic static or otherwise. I checked the forum for similar reports but found none. Can you please have a look into this problem to see if FSCommander could have affected this program. I am also going to check with the NL2K4.v3 team to find out what the problem is

I am doing the trial version of FSC and I am on the verge of registering for it however I have one problem in that when I click on the help button to go to the manual I get the message that Firefox can not read the language for it and can not load it. Have you had that problem mentioned before ? I could not find anything in the FAQ's
I am planning to use the program for our multi flights in our VA group which we have been conducting with great success and interest from our members

Sorry to hear you had a headache Francois hope I was'nt the cause of it and glad to see you back in action that false positive keeps coming up with MF but I can just ignore it as the file itself works normally

Thanks Holger I guess I am so spoiled by your good work that I did not remember the marinas being that way especially when I think of the other Fjord files :D
well than everything is in order - hope your move went smooth and that you are mostly settled in now - give me a call sometime and I'll buy you that beer I have promised :D :D

Hello Francois unfortunately I am back about the infected file business - I downloaded and installed MF without a hitch however, part of the boats in the marinas are presented as flat objects rather than 3D the strange part, at least strange for me, is that some of the boats are in 3D and the majority are not seems to me that part of the file did not load correctly, or could it be that AVAST is right in stating that my MF file has an infected part in it.

I always read your comments and advise with interest Francois but never more so than this time off course, thanks for your info and I'll go to my account to retrieve MF and re-install same to get back to normal thank you again :mrgreen: :mrgreen: I read about your loss of a family member sometime ago and the reality is that that is something we better get used to as we get older - I speak from experience since at my age I am only losing friends and acquaintances and this year I almost was history myself but the emergency team at the hospital had other ideas and kept me here :D :D

Lost my MF .exe file - discovered I had an Adware intrusion in MF and moved the file in question to my protective save files part of AVAST scan program
turns out it is the Misty Fjord exe file . Did a search to locate it but it has vanished from my system I was trying to install Sid's Ketchikan Int'l scenery file
which no matter what I tried did not work as desired :( :( see the screenie
what makes mattrers worse is that I can not find the original download zip nor is the install shield to be found HELP please
PS none of the other bldgs show up at the airport

Yup solved the problem searched traffic files and found in my add on scenery section reference to Sid & Pete's files that made me check their files found two bgl files relating to Vancouver deleted them and my ghosts have gone - vanished in thin air :lol: :lol: :lol:

Some time ago when my mind was still fuzzy from the hospital stay I decided to download and install the upgrades that SUN MSystems flashed on my computer to enhance the video qualities, the result was a debacle with Vanc +1 as some AI aircraft appeared in the screen that should not be there. See attached screenies
hope someone can give me a solution to get rid of the ghost AI's

Hi Holger relax it is all good news and most embarrassing to me :oops: :oops: I forgot that the re-install was
necessary because my FS9 CTD'd and thus no proper un-installation had taken place but moreover Juneau is not in
TF but in GBv2 off course anyhow to make a long story short I installed GBv2 had to rerun my FSGenesis folders etc
now all looks great as it was before - my sincere apologies for taking up you time and yes I did look at the manuals too
to make sure I did it right :lol:

Hello Holger glad to hear Calgary was a good time, since the last message I did get the Back up order
and downloaded the TF file again from Sim Market ran it to install and the same thing happened the
scenery is completely out of whack so apparently it is'nt my old file but what it can be is a mystery to me.
It is rather late now and I am bound to make mistakes if I try anything else tonight so I'll get back to it
tomorrow with hopefully a fresh head and see what I can come up with and I'll get some screenies

Hello Holger I always keep a copy of the original downloads on file and likewise with all the FSAddon
programs - somehow I believe my TF folder must have been corrupted I tried twice to re-install with
the install shield without luck - I did see the purchase option of the download extension so I'll have
to go that route I guess thanks for the reply oh come to think of it I'll have a look at the scenery file
but dont expect too much from that effort

Had to do a complete re-install of FS9 and naturally Tongass Fjords as well
the problem I am having now is that all the afcad files for TF are missing a
search came back nil results including a hidden file search - my downoload
link with sim market expired Nov 2006 so that is a no go also wonder if it is
possible to send me the necessary afcads

PS no such problems with MF which is installed also have UTCan

Hi Holger my TMVL is set at 21 in accordance with the manuals for the various FSAddOn products
re: the SP2 folder it will not delete because "the file is in use by another user" which I think means
that the file is used by the ...\landscape\scenery file where I copied the bgl to. i.o.w. it is now in two places
as for the "extra" files in the FSAddon tree, I must have installed SP1 wrong then because it was not done
by design by me. I think I'll spend the weekend re-installing the program again and this time do it slow and
follow the common advise of reading the manuals before I make my usual mistakes :wink: :wink:

Hi Holger I did do the re-install and things look almost normal there are a few little quirks still present but nothing I cannot live with if that has to be the way. I did goof on one item though and that is the install of the SP2 which I corrected by copying the content to the scenery folder as directed but now I cannot remove the SP from the TF folder. Wonder if you have any ideas on that, see attached screenies

Hello Holger just discovered that e.g PASI Rocky Gutierez also has an elevation problem and there is no el. adj. file in World\scenery for it either
whereas Yakutat has no problem and the el. adj. file is in World etc. so it seems something has run interference with my TF files and I am going to uninstall and re-install TF with the SP's and see what happens it is obvious something has happened within my system judging from my experiences

AS I scan my memory ( not the computer's) it dawned on me that earlier this year I had to do a complete re-install of FS9 as a security measure I copied the FS AddOn file to my Documents folder and that is how I got a duplication - funny part is that it only has had an effect on TF and notr on the other files MF and GlB2 or Van1+ I have del;eted the duplicate files and there is no change at PAWG as you said before I hope that you can e-mail me the elevation correction file to copy it to the FS\SCen\World\Scen file

I checked for the _elevation_adjustment file and it is not listed in FS\Scenery\World\scenery
ran a search for it in Windows and it did not show up there either that is more than likely the problem then
and I'll check and see if I can find it in the original download which I saved as I do with all download files

PS just checked my original download zip.file see only an install macro does that mean I'll have to run a re-install

Hello Volker as a follow up to my question: I have found out that a file named traffic 305028 has completely disappeared from FS9 and is the likely cause of the problem , dont know why it has vanished so completely but I will be receiving a copy for installation from a friend of mine and hopefully that will be the end of it.
In the meantime if you have an answer for my second question re: flight planning I would appreciate hearing from you
