  1. Thanks for the profile info. Good to know! I will delete the 208B sections. I will repost .ini files should it happen again. I am currently doing a U.S. tour in the Kodiak and FSUIPC has been great for using the G1000 MFD. Inputting a FPL and PROC, etc., has been so much easier (than using a mouse). Now I need another simple button box for the softkeys! Thanks again and much appreciated!! George
  2. FSUIPC7.ini Since my last post, I have re-assigned the buttons, so not sure if this FSUIPC7.ini file will help. I will repost if it happens again. I have not set up specific plane profiles as of yet. Currently flying the SWS Kodiak 100. So, can I make a backup copy of the FSUIPC7.ini file and replace it to the installation folder should this happen again?
  3. Hi Guys, It seems I lost all of the bindings I had set up for my button box. Could it have been a result of the recent MSFS world update? Is there a way to save assignments should this happen again? Sorry I checked the documentation and didn't see anything regarding this. Thanks, George
  4. That did John!! What a relief! And, come to find out, I can also map the FMS knob which will make things so much easier. This is great! Thank you so much! George
  5. Purchased the Kodiak 100 and still nothing.
  6. Also, if I try to assign a push button on the button box to say, a soft key on the MFD, it also does not work. If it’s the plane I wonder if something like the Kodiak 100 (from Simworks I believe) would have this capability? Appreciate you’re help John
  7. I believe they are button based. I can assign them to the Altimeter Inc/Dec and it works fine. I’m trying it in the MSFS default Cessna 208B.
  8. I have a generic button box that I am trying to bind the map range knob (map zoom in/out) to a rotary encoder. After hours of trying and researching online I am unsuccessful. I am not sure if I am missing something obvious. Here is what I do: Move the encoder and it shows up in the Joy# and Btn# Click "Select for FS control" Select "G1000 MFD Zoomin Button" Click OK If I open the Console log it shows, "button pressed" and "button released". Are there different steps when assigning a rotary encoder? I can assign switches like Pitot Heat to a regular rocker switch. Any help would be much appreciated as this is all new to me. "Help me FSUIPC. You're my last and only hope"
  9. Would it be possible to get a trial license? I have a button box and would like to see if I can map certain items such as the range knob in the MSFS G1000 MFD to a rotary encoder and also the FMS knob to an encoder and a rotary. The rotary's are not dual. Thank you
