1. FSX
2. FSUIPC 4.558
3. FS Commander and Database Manager version 8.6
4. Aerosoft version
5. Operating System XP SP2
Anyone have a working PACOT link for this for firefox and/or IE7?
Thanks.

Thanks , yes i found out that was the culprit. I really don't remember activiating that log. All of a sudden I was getting low disk space errors from that log file after leaving FSX idling for a few days on pause. I've had alot to do at work and probably from lack of sleep.

Is FSUIPC writing a simconnect0.log to the C:\ directory? And if so can it be turned off?
-
Any guesstimate when this will be fixed? I am planning to downgrade back to 8.4 again as I had no problems with it.
By the way it's not just an SP2 issue it is happening here on SP1.

Thanks Pete!!

Is there a quick way to center the Elevator Trim via anything? Key, Joy button ?? Third hand??

What i did with mine, it was a little screwy also was lower the sensitivty for the rudder axis in the FSX settings and in crease the null zone a little bit. My AC using a logitech wingman forcefeedback with the rudder being controlled thu the handle twist would always turn hard to the left and there was a gap where the rudder would go real hard left till there was pressure so to speak on the twist then it would flip back a little and work normal. So changing the sensitivty settings seemed to help it.
After that I did calibrate the rudder also with FSUIPC and checked the filter option on the axis. Whether that actually helped improve matters I'm not really sure but it works ok now.
Just a note though this was a problem even before I started using FSUIPC .

Better late then never but thanks for the reply. Actually it worked out well. framerates when up some and it actually runs alot smoother now on this old box. Worked so well I bought all 3 of them.

Any clashes running these 2 together?

Coincidence in timing. It turned out to be bad server data on ASX's side that they have corrected.
-
Latley Im seeing TAT's in upwards of 70C while on the ground. Also getting them from ATIS. When i refresh the ASX weather it goes back to normal for a minute or so then the temps start rising again and my altimeter starts going a little cuckoo, not sure if this is an ASX data issue or maybe an FSUIPC issue. This has happened within the past week or so.

Just some added info concerning SP1 and the betas, Ive been working alot this week and was still stuck on 4.241. Ive noticed a huge difference with the Level-D Aircraft. Managed 2 flights with absolutley no problems with the auto pilot going bonkers. Good performance too with Wilco 737's flying thru some major weather. BTW Im using ASX for the weather not the stock FSX weather.
going to install 4.25 now and try a trans atlantic flight.
Thanks Pete!!! :D

Some feed back with this release is good. No crashes, no major wind flucuations and the IAS ratcheting has seemed to dissappear (SP1) :D
No noticable difference with stutters weather <---- (Pun) the wind smoothing is enabled or disabled.

Sorry for this miss worded info. It was early. I was getting the MS FSX has encountered and error and needs to close box. I had put in .234 last night and flew for about 2 hours, (continuation of a previous flight with .231), got the error around the 2 hour mark. Re booted the machine hoping it was just that. Got it again after picking up on the latest fsuipc saved flight. settings for those are 600 seconds x 10. Shut down for the night. Checked the board this morning and saw 235 so gave it a go. Same error aroud the same place according to miles to go. Put 4.231 back in and picked up on the same FSUIPC saved flight and it was fine. I have the 3 boxes of wind smoothing checked on the left with your default #'s. Have been using the same settings since 4.219 which had the SP1 manifests added.
-
Just for your info, on FSX SP1 WinXP 4.231 seems to work good. I tried .234,.235 and started getting some program crashes. FSX failed to respond errors at the exact same location. I put 4.231 back and it works fine.

Ah a little IAS ratcheting is an ok trade off for the wind fix. I'm glad it works as good as it does on this old jurassic park box.
-
4.219 worked good with FSrealtime., Flight was B707-3 KBFI-KADW @ FL350 I noticed quite an improvement with the wind smoothing enroute and on descent with the 3 wind shift boxes ticked with the default settings. Although I noticed my IAS guage was going a little nuts while the wind direction was changing the AC itself was getting blown around quite smoothly. Not the normal abrubt shifts seen prior.
-
Ok. no problem and thanks for the reply.
-
4.218 is SP2 specific? I installed the .dll to see if it helped with the wind problem but it renedered FSrealtime V's 1.853 and 1.86 unresponsive with the set to now button.

Hi, Im having various building(buildings that arent there) crashes at Blagnac LFBO on runway 15L which is really Runway 14 and also around the gate and parking areas. Seems there is an invisible building in the middle of the runway. Also on approach at about 4000ft ASL to 23R. I also noticed a Jet Aircraft sticking ass out out of the ground at one of the gates.
Does FScene have anything to do with this? Its my only scenary addons that I use. Ive tried different stock FSX aircraft and a few addons. Same thing. Altimeter settings are set correctly also.
-
ah ok thanks. i didn't see that link this.morning when I was there.
Hmm the only other scenary type add on im usings is cls enviroment boost which does modify buildings. I guess I'll remove it and try another test flight.
Thanks for the reply.

Hi, Where is the link to the FScene for FSX patch they announced on AVSIM?.
Im having major problems at Toululose LFBO with crashing into invisible buildings on the ground and at 3000ft asl. and hoping this will correct it.

You can use the FSC plans with PFE. Regardless of which plan you use (FSC or FSX flight planner) they still need to be converted with the PFE flight plan converter and then compiled.
