i've been stuck in la75 for some time now, due to some mishaps in real life . now that everything is slowly getting back to normal and the meridian is back in fs2004, i hope to resume the tour :)
-
i guess the subject says it all :) have some cake, too!
-
according to some posts in the avsim forums: no night or seasonal textures, and no 3d objects either.
even so, i still find it terrific (though i'm not going to buy it). if it was portugal i wouldn't think twice.
-
maybe you want to drool over this. all yours for $139/€129 :(

EFC-447 : KGLS : 26.09.03 : 27.09.03 -> LA75
first time i got crappy weather... lighting and thunder in fs2004 are very nice indeed. i landed in the midst of a grey soup, it wasn't nice. thank god for the garmin 530 and its approaches database.

EFC-447 : 5C1 : 25.09.03 : 27.09.03 -> KGLS
no acars this time, the pss a340 screwed up my fsuipc installation (by resetting run options and the ch products settings) and i only noticed that fsacars was not running after i was airborne)
i promise this was the last time i flew into an airport without charts!!! :) fortunately the commander is a joy to fly, it only took me 3 go-arounds to land :)
-
is that fred choate's et al beaver? beautiful repaint! looking forward to the efc repaint!

efc-447 : kpwa : 19/09/2003 : 20/09/2003 -> 5c1
i had a bit of a problem with the meridian's engine, had to wait all week for the repairs :(
as some of you may notice at the end of the acars for leg 4, there is the word 'crash' (after 'land', mind you :) not my fault that ch placed the gear switch next to the flaps switch! fortunately, due to several pints of guinness i had during the flight, i came out of the plane uninjured.
anyway, this means that i will leave the meridian behind, as i can't wait for a new landing gear; and switch to the commander c115 (which means fs2004, yay!)

efc-447 has just arrived in ksjc!
my butler carried out the meridian ferry to tacoma international, and i flew it straight to san josé, leaving the cardinal behind.
i'll fly to chandler on thursday the eleventh, anyone doing the same by any chance?
-
just got back yesterday from vacation, and after two real flights (shorts sd3-60 and a320) i didn't feel like flying :)
will resume today (i only did the 1st leg on the opening day).
-
check airliners.net (this link only has pictures from tncm). i also have a video of a 747 taking off and everybody on the beach running to the sea, i'll post the link when i find it :)
-
i was forced to take my vacations next week, but i'll be there on friday!
-
my problem with windowed mode is if i try to start a flight when windowed. fs gets stuck in 'loading...' at 0% and after some time it crashes to the desktop.
-
just finished reading pc pilot, and found this site in the downloads section.
a lot of washington sceneries and slow aircraft :)
-
hey, what do you know, i have friday afternoon off! :)
-
i'll try to get on board as much as possible, but 1900z is a bit too early for me during the week (should have learnt gardening or something, not computer networks :)
if anyone else is in the same situation and wants to schedule the flights for later (say, 2200z) it would be great. i'm on zulu time.
btw, i have 3 planes in mind:
* commander 115
* cessna 421
* piper meridian
for now, there are no updates for the c421 and the meridian for fs2k4, and i've frozen my fs2002 setup and am trying to do all my flying using fs2k4, so i guess i'll start out with the commander.
what are your choices of aircraft?
-
i believe you will find it if you look in 'add-on places', or am i wrong?
-
don moser has moved to germany. now, i had never found an excuse to buy all those rhur sceneries...
-
imagine if they didn't care about the passengers...
