  1. Hi, guys.

Maybe I have to learn much more on FSC, so I apologize if I'm writing some stupid information here.

I always thought that the numbers at the right side of the waypoints meant: Airway number, min and max altitudes for flying on that airway.

When I want to see MSA, I go to left vertical autohidden menu and click on MSA button to see them displayed on map.

About saving FP for Wilco 737PIC:

It uses FSX format flightplan so you have to point your saved FP to correct FSX FP folder.

Maybe you are experiencing a known bug: the "cannot import flightplan" message on FMC. If so, this is the workaround I do:

    1. Load FSX default aircraft on departure airport.

    2. Load flightplan.

    3. Change default aircraft to 737PIC

    4. Set dep/dest airports on FMC.

    5. Import flightplan on FMC.

That's all, with a little aditional tip: if you change your aircraft from 737PIC and then go back to it, you will have the error message again. So you will have to close FSX and re-open it.

  3. Hi, Ric.

    Yes it does.

Go to Menu > Flight Plan > Save as

Click on the lower left button - go directly to FS flight plan directory

Maybe you gave to point to your FP directory on FS. Mine is C:\Documents and Settings\\My Documents\Flight Simulator X Files.

Don't forget to choose the formats you want to save your flightplan by checking the boxes at the right side of 'save as' window.

    737PIC uses FS format.

    That's all.

  4. Hi, Volker

Thank you very much for your kind explanation.

Yes, I have read the manual before posting as I have checked that feature and when I right click the aircraft label it just blinked in red, so I supposed it was not working. My mistake.

May I suggest you to change this in a way that when aircraft is 'not on the map' function we can see the label on another color (not just a blink)?

    Best regards

  5. Hi, Team.

The 8.5 version is great. The few issues I had on 8.4 were corrected. Congratulations!

The only feature I did not like was about SIDS/STARS selection. The old way, when you had a diagram, although not perfect as sometimes zoom was not enough, could give you an idea of your approach while you were connected and flying.

The actual procedure is fine, as you set direct on map your approach but if you are connected, and all data is being collected on your route table, to see your STAR you have to disconnect and zoom to your dest airport.

In this case, you miss all data from the disconnection.

It would be great if we have a mix of both solutions, i.e., if you could 'pop-up' the destination airport with the STAR tablet to choose one.

    Best regards

  6. Hello, Volker.

    Thanks for your reply.

In fact I believe I could not express clearly on what is happening: you have two options - the aircraft moves and when it reaches the 'limit' of the screen the map moves to keep the aircraft on sight. Or you can activate "Move map instead of aircraft", so the aircraft is centered on the screen and the map moves.

Of course you know. Just to say that I also know it. :D

In my case, I keep deactivated the "move map" option but, somehow, in certain circumstances - and I believe the pattern is beggining a new flight not closing and opening again FSC after the last one - the aircraft goes "off the screen" and the map screen does not refresh as expected to keep the aircraft "on sight".

I apologize if I have not made myself clear and, please, let me know if you undestood this report.

    Best regards

  7. Hi.

When I first start a flight and connect FSC to FSX the aircraft is correctly set on screen and map moves as necessary to keep aicraft in sight.

Then I end the flight, disconnect from FSX, load a new flight. Connect to FSX. Screen do not move anymore with the aircraft.

Does anybody noticed the same behaviour?

  8. I hope this is not happening just with me as I've searched the forum about this issue and no one reported the same. I would also like to know if this is the expected procedure.

I apologize for detailing step by step but I think it is necessary as maybe I'm doing something wrong.

I create a flightplan and do my flight. Everything runs ok (except for data on flightplan table that sometimes do not shows up - but this is another thread). So I finish my flight and try to create another one.

First I go to the menu - Flightplan - New.

At the box that pops up asking if I want to save the previous recording data I click NO. At this time the old flightplan is still on the chart.Wasn't it supposed to be erased so I can create my new FP?

So I go back to menu - Flightplan - New and now the old flightplan is erased.

Ok, it is not such a big problem at all but it seems not to be so logical to go twice to the same menu to create a new FP. Or maybe I'm doing something wrong.

  9. Hi.

I searched the forum about this issue and I did not find any reference so I apologize if this has been discussed.

When I accidentaly (and I frequently do it :? ) exit flight without previously disconnecting FSC, the GPS window opens automatically and I get the message telling that FSX connection was lost. At the menu, the GPS Window is not checked and there is no way to close it except beginning a flight or closing FSC.

I don't know if this is a bug or there is something wrong with my install.
