Thank you F. Schmid, I could have sworn I had seen that MSA number for a quadrant before. I think it was probably in the Tutorial which I thought was great. Anyway, I had looked all over trying to find how to again display the number. I guess I need to sit closer to my monitors than I even thought. My only defense is that MSA symbol is awfully small! Thank you. Between that and the msa listed for each segment, I guess I'm good to go. All I have to do is open my eyes. Thanks for all the help. Great program.

Hi Eric,
I understand what you are saying, and you are right. If you use a segmet which is part of a Low or High Altitude airway, the MSA is reflected. If you are going direct between Nav Aides, an altitude is not reflected. So, I have to learn to just know where on the chart to look. Thanks a lot.

Eric, I should say I do see the what is I guess the MSA for the whole flight plan, FL#!) in your attachment. I'm looking for help in getting up and down after departure and before arrival. In the real world you would have dispatch and charts. I'm trying to do it now without charts.

Eric - I'm really confused now. I took a good look at your attachment and a new flight plan I just filed. I see no MSA's in the way points. In your attachment, I do see runway lengths for two approaches. I wish they could put a MSA block for each segment of the flight plan. I'm still hoping I'm missing something. Thanks

I've just downloaded FSC this past week, and it does just about everything I wanted it to. A really nice and useful program. I see that when you select enroute low altitude Victor airways, MSA's are posted for most segmets. I was wondering though is there any other source in FSC to view enroute MSA's? I've gone through the manual, but either there isn't another way, or I've missed it. Thanks for the advice.
I have FSX, a reg cy of FSUIPCv4.40, FSC85.exe, build 200409 w/FSCDb Manager 85.exe, your website download and Vista 64 - hopefully soon to be Windows 7/64 bit.

FS Path Unknown Warning Box
in (Former) FS Commander Support Forum
Posted
I have been using FS Commander for some time now, and it is one of my favorite programs. I recently installed Windows 7 64 bit which was a nightmare in itself. I had to re download FS Commander 8.5 and it is working fine except for one irritant. When I go to Save a flight plan to FS, I get a Flight Sim Cmdr 8.5 warning box which says, " Flight Plan cannot be saved because FS Path unknown. Please specify FS Path in Options Window". Initially, I redid the path a couple of times although it looked perfect to me. Finally, I checked my flight storage file and every flight plan had saved perfectly to the proper folder. It all works fine except this Warning Box. Anyway to get rid of the box? Thanks for the help.
I am flying FSX, FSUIPC4 regestered, downloaded 8.5 version with 64 bit Windows 7.
