The Helicopter is Nemeth Designs new Mi-17. Payware at Simmarket. pretty cheap though. :)
The paint...... on my harddrive at the moment.

Just wanted to show you my newest fleet addon.
It`s big, it`s noisy and it`s Russian.
I hope you guys don`t mind me doing my own custom club colours.
Somehow i can`t seem to add any attachments, so you guys have to live with the link this time. :)
Edit: Followed Francois` advice and resized a shot of it.

I believe that it is best that Nemeth Designs release a paint kit so that paints schemes can be made available on avsim and flightsim websites.
Such as this one (courtesy of airliners.net)
There is a paintkit included in the release. In the folder named "Paintkit" :wink:

I`m following the Checklist in the manual, but somehow i`m unable to get AC power connected. It worked the first time i flew the heli, but not after that time.

You can either buy a card that supports 3 monitors or you could go for the cheaper thing. Buy a PCI graphic card for the 3rd monitor. :)

Engine adjustments done pretty late in the evening, so i decided to do some night flying this time.
Unfortunately the headwind was even stronger tonight. 35kt. :shock:
At a flightlevel of 7500ft, that made my ground speed only 130kts.
Pretty uneventful flight to PASY.
The landing was one of the rougher kind, so the Gooney is out of the tour for a while. I had some luck though... Some russians from Petropavlovsk had to get their plane back to russian soil as fast as possible, so i have to read some manuals before continuing. Even if the Tu114 is fast, i can`t compete with Cubpilot`s 707. :lol:

Departed PAPH early in the morning in pretty nice weather.
At least i thought it was. 30kt headwind awaited at cruise altitude.
Due to the strong headwinds i had to land at Cold Bay to refuel for the next stint. nice opportunity to grab something to eat too.
After departing Cold Bay, the course was set directly to Adak. I thought maybe i could catch up on some of the other guys, but no luck this time.
Gonna do some small adjustments to one of the engines before heading off for the next waypoint.

After a serious delay due to repainting the Gooney at Homer, i departed in the same terrible weather as i had when i landed several days ago.
Had a 30kt headwind the entire flight, so i had to set her down at Port Heiden..... hmm.... at least that`s where i think i landed. :)
Spending the night here before continuing the leg.

Departed Yakutat in terrible weather. Terrible weather the entire way.
Landed at Homer in terrible weather.
What can i say.... the weather wasn`t nice today. :lol:
Going to spend a few hours in the hanger here to plug some leaks. :lol:

It was a great first day Travis. I`m currently standing in a hanger in Yakutat, trying to repair the rudder. Some hairy minutes up there with a stuck rudder. :)

Well, here`s my opinion.
The 3D model is very nice (as you all can see from the screenshots)
The 2D panel is very nice (allthough i don`t use 2D panels any more)
The VC is IMHO awesome. no framerate loss that i notice.
The flight model: i can`t really say if it`s accurate or not (never flown a plane in real life :shock: :lol:) but compared to the default C172 and the realair flight models it`s a blast to fly. Really smooth.
Did a few T&G`s at Bremerton and found out that i like this one allmost as much as the Realair SF260. (some of you know how much i like that one :lol: )
This is just my humble opinion. The price might be a tad high for this one, but i really wanted a nice 172 with a nice VC.

Finally a good looking 172 with a awesome VC.
I`m going to get it as soon as i get home from work. :D

Its not the gauges that takes the worst hit on the FPS, but the Exterior details.
I guess that Eaglesoft made the AI package for a reason. :wink:
If you drop by Simmarket, you can also see a couple of AI packages containing cessna and Piper small GA planes.

I have a AMD XP2600+, 1Gb DDR DIMM and a 9600XT.
I haven`t noticed any slowdown on my rig. Just as a heads up to all the peeps you managed to discourage with your post. :wink:
I think you should take a look at your system to see if you could speed it up somehow.

Looks fine on this end Björn. Have you cleaned your cache? Restarted PC? Reset the modem/router?
Tried everything. This problem started a couple of weeks ago.
I`m not the only one with this problem. Too bad though....
This means that i have no chance of reinstalling some items.
