Phil Taylor's blog instructions for SP1 installation suggest uninstalling all 3rd party add-ons that might install dll's. Shall I assume that this includes FSUIPC along with 3rd party aircraft etc? Also, IIRC, if I do uninstall FSUIPC I should copy my .key file prior to doing same. Correct? Thanx! Vic

Odd that this first happened about 2 minutes after everything started up okay. Have you got external SimConnect clients starting later? Negative. Please download the latest interim release from the FSX downloads above and trying that. Check the Log. Will do and report back. Thanx! Vic

Hi Pete - Just noticed today the FSUIPC 4.06 in FSX is logging data for the flight even though I have nothing checked in the logging tab. I've never had to use it so I don't know if it's been that way since day one or if I accidentally turned it on somewhow. Just took a quick flight and checked - all log options in logging tab unchecked ( Stop button is greyed out ). Am I losing it or did I originally read that FSUIPC v3.xx was ONLY for FS2004? I see in the docs that it's backward compatible with FS2002, etc. Is this correct? thanx, Vic Baron
