  1. Hi,

I'm using the CH's FlightSim Yoke, Pro Pedals and Quadrant Throttle (all USB) in FS2004.

I experience a strange problem right now with my CH Pro Pedals. Something has happened to the behavior of my right brake. It does not function anymore:

When I press the right pedal down the red sign in the left down corner saying "DIFFERENTIAL BRAKES" is flickering a few miliseconds, and then dissapear and the right brake does not function.

The left brake is steady and do function ok.

I have assigned the controls within the FS9 and it worked ok yesterday!?!? What happened??? :?

I dont think its a hardware problem because:

    1) The pedals reacts completely normal when I test them in the calibration program within FS9.

    2) I have tried to assign the rigth brake to a throttle on the yoke with exactly the same result.

Is it not right to conclude that this cant be a hardware problem (broken wire or something)?

Could this problem somhow be related to FSUIPC? What could I check in FSUIPC if so ?

Does anybody has an idea to a solution?

    Best Regards

    Lars

  2. Thanks Jaap,

I've been looking at Wetter 2004. Basicly I understand that the program creates weather randomly. Is it possible to modify weather once it is created in this program? If so - how?

Do you make the AI-traffic with TrafficTools? Another program?

PS: Looking forward to your French VFR edition... :)

  3. Which program is used to create the wx-files in VFR Guides Greek Islands ? I'm asking because I'm in doubt what wheater creation program I should purchase (AS6, Weather-Maker Pro, etc). And I find that the weather in the adventures seems to be so realistic, sometimes changing along the route as you fly! I would like a program that could manage that.

    Kind Regards

  4. Hi there Jaap,

Thank you for a wonderfull expierience flying in Greece. It's not much of a problem for me, but the HSP Scenery which you reccomend does not function totally without problems. The guys from HSP (who have made a very fine scenery) has adjusteded the airports to their correct localisations. That means that the starting point for the Cessna in your guided tours is outside the airport area, more or less. You might want to make an update to correct this problem.

    Kind Regards

  5. I purchased FSUIPC in december 2003 and WideFS four days ago. What SimMarket says about FSUIPC in relation to the use of WideFS is this:

Note that this version of WideFS needs Version 3 (or later) of FSUIPC, and will not work until it is registered by entering the access key into the registration page in FSUIPC’s on-line options.

The above quote is from the webpage. The e-mail from SimMarket did not mention anything about FSUIPC version number. I can mail it to you if you want.

(Do not be surprised regarding the last Wideserver.log's date; my PC date was wrong and was corrected before this log was made)

  7. Hi Pete,

In the meantime I found out that running FS9 in window-mode makes me see the "Wideserver: 1 connected" text allright. So now I have this situation: both my server and my client gives the message "Connected" in the tittlebars of FS9 and WideCient.exe. But all the same I have this error "Unable to connect to FS" when I try to cinnect FS Vommander 7.5 (on my client) to FS9 (on my server).

I have the latest registered version of FSUIPC (ver 3.52)

I have the latest registered version of WideFS (ver 6.51)

    My Wideserver.log looks like this:

    ********* WideServer.DLL Log [version 6.51] *********

Blocksize guide = 4096 (double allowed)

Date (dmy): 03/01/06, Time 16:55:24.296: Server name is STATIONÆR

    My WideClient.log like this:

    ********* WideClient Log [version 6.51] Class=FS98MAIN *********

Date (dmy): 08/01/06, Time 16:55:06.862: Client name is PRESSARIO700

    16904 Server = STATION R

    16914Okay, IP Address = 192.168.1.10

    16924 Connection made okay!

I'll be very glad if you could help me!

  8. I have FSUIPC and WideFS and both are registered in the FSUIPC. I installed WideServer and WideClient as described in the manual.

Bu when I start up FS2004 I do not get a message that WideFS are waiting to be connected as I was told it should be. And I'm not able to connect my FS Commander 7.5 from my client PC allthough when I start my WideClient.Exe after the FS2004 I'm told that "WideClient FS98 Eliminator - Connected". Any solution to this problem?

  9. I have downloaded and installed the greek scenery from The Hellenic Scenery Project (HSP). Their website is:

    http://www.avsim.com/greece/scenery/index_main.htm

After running the FSNav Database Creator there are some errors in the way FSNavigator shows the ILS-icon. HSP has moved nearly all greek airports slightly (maybe about 500 hundred meters) to the south in relation to theit original position in order to make the position more correct. Correctly FSNavigator shows only one (the new) runway but the ILS of the "new" slightly more southern placed airport is missing, while it is there on the old airport that you can't see anymore. That means that on the airports with ILS you se an airport (runways) without ILS, which is placed slightly to the north.

Somehow FSNav shows the NEW runway but the OLD ILS-icon.

I wonder where the error is to be found: In the way FSNavigator creates its database or in the way the Greek Scenery is made and installed?

Does anybody have some experience with that kind of problem?

    Best Regards

    Lars Frederiksen
