  1. Pete, I checked at SimMarket site and did not find the update. Where can I find it please? Pramod
  2. Last weekend, I changed from Vista to Win7 and reinstalled FSX and FSUIPC. Before this OS change, I had various profiles created using the information from the User's Guide and the profile feature was working beautifully. But after the OS change and reinstall, this feature is not working even though I have followed the instructions. The ini file shows "UseProfiles=Yes" but I still see the "Aircraft specific?" checkbox instead of "Profile specific? checkbox. Would appreciate some help please Please see the attachment for the details of version etc. Let me know if you need more information please. Thanks for your help Pramod
  3. No, I have not. I have also noted that it happens only in the full-screen mode and not in window mode. Pramod
  4. I have even tried updating my video driver, but it does not help. It seems to me that some files have got corrupted/replaced on my m/c because earlier I did not have this problem. I might try looking into COMCTL as Pete has suggested.
  5. I installed version 3.47 yesterday. The problem is that this version is not writing back to update the fsuipc.ini file. For example, if I delete the .ini file to allow fsuipc to create a fresh .ini file, it does not do it. Also, if I use my old .ini file and make some changes, like re-setting the axes or re-assign some keys/buttons, the .ini file does not get updated. Pramod
  6. I am facing a similar problem since last few months. The only add-ons I have installed during this time are the freeware aircrafts. My system is Intel 1.7GHz - ATI Radeon 9800 Pro and DirectX 9.0c. I tried Peter's suggestion from the FSUIPC user guide (3.47) about adding Init...=0 to the FSUIPC.ini file but that did not help. I am planning to update my video driver tonight. Will let you know if it helps. I use FsFlightAssistant (voice recognition utility) and was starting it from within FSUIPC - so (based on Peter's user guide) I thought that that was the reason. Then I stopped loading that program but still have the proble. Pramod
  7. I recently switched from FS2002 to FS2004 and have purchased the latest FSUIPC. In FS2002, I am able to have 2 INI installations by following the directions given in the "FSUIPC for Advanced Users" and everything works fine. But in FS2004, while the default installation (using FSUIPC.cfg) works fine, the second installation (using FSUIPC_JOY.cfg) gives an error message - 'The requested flight file is corrupt or can't be found. .. ' 1) I have /CFG: FSUIPC_JOY.cfg added to the command line parameter for the shortcut for FS9. 2) I have added; [FSUIPC] ControlName=FSUIPC_JOY to the additional FS9_JOY.cfg file in the C:\Documents and Settings\Pramod Mathur\Application Data\Microsoft\FS9\ folder I added it at the top of the .cfg file - is it OK? Can you please tell me what am I doing wrong?
