  1. Peter Ihave just acquired a piece of Jeppesen FS100 Hardware. This is a panel equipped with switches and controls for flaps landing radio etc etc. It was originally designed to work within Jeppesen's proprietary sim (FS100) It connects to the PC via a serial cable. My question is: Is it possible for me to utilize and program these panel switches through FSUIPC and FS2K when the unit connects through a serial port? thank you Norm [/img]
  2. Yes I do use 2002 as PIC not fully compatible with 2004. I have now registered and will download and install latest version. Thanks again Norm
  3. Sir, I have been using FSUIPC as a free program for a long time. I use it with WideView( 6 monitors, 3 PC's and 767PIC) Untill I decided to read the documentation and visit this forum (only last night), I did not realize the full potential of this program. Since reading the info yesterday, I have reprogrammed my throttle to include reverse thrust and also done some button programming (not bad for an old fella just this side of 60?) I guess the old adage applies, when everything else fails, read the instructions. :D Only after visiting this forum, for the first time, did I find out that a registered version was available. Your prompt response, coupled with the capabilities of the software, leave me no option, but to gladlysubscibe. I will do this as soon as I finish this message. Thanks again Peter. Sincerely Norm Mc Parland
  4. Please forgive me if this question has already been asked but I was unable find any reference to it on the board. I would like to program the chase view as if I had pressed the 'S" button 3 times I am able to program a basic 'S' press on a button but, in order to reach the view I want, I have to press the assigned joystic button 3 times (cycling through the various chase modes) Is there a way I can program the button so that when I press and hold it, this simulates the 'S' key being pressed 3 times and , when I release the button, send a basic 'S' key press once to release the chase view? The idea is to get a close up chase view while I hold the button and to cancel chase view on release of the button? thank you Norm Mc parland
