You might try looking into your router settings. If one of you or both are using a router, it might be set to a port that is not compatible with the other. This has been an issue on another server I have flown on. It may take some work, but you might be able to get it fixed.

Grey_Wolf,
What service are you with and how much is that?

While occasionally we go on the longer Bike trips outside this area, I was born and raised here in Washington and will never leave. There is so much to see here and now I have to add another place to the list…Thanks a lot Francois..lol
I have a planned Bike Trip around Whidbey Island some time in the future and I will probable add these two stops into the mix. It will make for a nice long weekend trip.
Francois, if you ever do make it into the Puget Sound Area, let me know. I know of a few Rides that you would love to do.

A new cool little Ultra Light at Flightsim.com

Guido,
I believe if you check the Aircraft.Cfg you might find that the contact point is a skid or float. If you change it to the wheel code #, the smoke and sparks will stop.
-
Guido,
I have not installed it but, I looked at the photos for it on avsim. In picture #5 you can see that just left of center there is a line running the full length up and down.
I don’t know for sure, but I would say that may be what you are seeing and it is the way it was made.

Lou,
If you can do the ip to ip thing, you can do this…lol
Just type in the ip of the server that he will be using and that’s it.

Well I did it and it works great. I lowered the volume 12db on the sound files that were to loud and re-saved them. Thanks for the help.

Paul,
An opinion was asked for; I gave mine as everyone else that has posted here, except you. If you have an opinion on the 2 Aircraft in question, please, let’s hear it, if not; Don’t bust my Butt for giving mine. We will not go there again.
For everyone else, please carry on…

Everyone is entitled to their opinion. “The Model is great”…I would not say that.
It seems to me that if it were so great, there would have been no need for any fixes.
The Visual Model was never fixed or updated.

This is all I am going to say about this Demo, as it is what happened and all I know.
I installed this Aircraft and the Sim would not load, on several tries. I un-installed it and the Sim worked just fine. Plain and simple, that’s what happened. :(

Boy…you guys are a lot of help..
I was not sure about this and now I know…thanks for the Info.

Is there a way to adjust the engine volume on an individual Aircraft in a CFG file somewhere?

A must have in the mid sized Twin Turbo Prop line. The 690B Rockwell Turbo Commander can be had at the link below. The YV-1050P is the one I have. They are also in the process, and close to release with, the Beechcraft King Air 200. It should be really nice and one to look forward to.

Lou,
You have PM.

I just found the weirdest anomaly at Geo Darrington Muni. In several locations, in grass or on the dirt. There were spots that seemed to be grass, but the plane fell into it like water. I switched to a float plane and indeed, it would float like in water.
I thought I had it tracked down to the US Washington North Cascades Mesh as the issue went away when I un-installed it. When I re-installed the Mesh, the problem was no longer there. This is very strange and I was wondering if anyone else has experienced this anywhere.

Oh come on Bruce, it's not THAT hard... :)

For those of you Heli flying Pilots, there is a really nice remake of the Bell 206B III in 2 models, over at Hovercontrol.com. It was made by Owen Hewitt from FSD.
It has some very nice features as in, slide open windows, 4 opening doors, opening storage and the News Chopper has a Camera that is supposed to move, but I can’t get that to work yet. Check it out.

Francois,
You know, you are right. I did find it by doing a search but…
It seems to me that not many people, including myself, must read the news page on Simflight as I would think that if they did, it would have been mentioned on here 2 days ago.
I wonder why no one mentioned it if they had seen it there. I had to come by it an Avsim during my daily search, and now it is on Flightsim.com. I guess I am going to have to read the News page more…
:)

For all of you out there that like nice Scenery Packages, but hate the price of them, here is one very nice package, that is free.
I found it on Avsim but this is a link to the Makers Web Site. Take a look at the Screenshots and Read the Features in the left column. You will not believe it is free.
Serious mech glitch, probably well known?

Bill,
I think you might be right. I had the Carriers 2006 and it did things like that.
