Arrestor Cables?

Peter, I am having a problem with the freeware version of Arrestor Cables (ver. 2.4.0.3) and FS2004. The freeware version would work fine with FS2002 and FSUIPC 2.83. I have upgraded and registered FSUIPC 3.22, I am running FS2004 in the Win 2000 OS. I was getting the "Range Checking Error, Is FS running?" from the Arrestor Cables software until I added the line "MakeItVersionFS2002=Yes" to FSUIPC.INI like you suggested. Now, when I run Arrestor Cables, I'm getting the message "Program only works with FSUIPC 2.83 or later -- Connection Aborted". Will there be any way that I will be able to use the freeware version of Arrestor Cables, or does it look like I may be spinning my wheels trying to correct a problem that will only be corrected by purchasing the payware version of the same software?
