Another great easy-to-use tool you may use to convert (even in batch) among different formats and reduce the image size is XnView.
You find the setup at http://www.xnview.com.
This application is freeware for non commercial users.
It's definitely the best freeware tool for windows I've ever found web wide.

Right Jeroen and Lauren.
Moreover, we strongly suggest you uninstall your current FSSE version before installing the new one.

Hi TEL_2,
in case even after the reinstallation of both the sceneries, both of them have the same layer number, try to change the proper lines into your scenery.cfg like this:
[Area.123]
Title=Amsterdam Schiphol 2002 © 2002 LAGO
Active=TRUE
Layer=123
Local=C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FS2002\LAGO\EHAM2002
[Area.124]
Title=Emma Field © 2002 LAGO
Active=TRUE
Layer=124
Local=C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\FS2002\LAGO\EmmaField

Great work Jeroen!

I completely agree.
I'm so glad our community has the honor to number a simmer like you, Lauren :D

Dear Shaun,
I noticed that the email address you submitted while purchasing FSSE is different from the one you submitted when you purchased Twin Otter, so you'll need to use our our automatic code retrieving facility twice (submitting both the email) in order to received both the serial numbers.
In order to avoid the problem I sent you your code manually.
Anyway, I strongly suggest you use a sole email address for purchases through our site, so that you are able to retrieve the complete listing of the codes simply.
Regards,
-
No, the installer reads the path into the registry; that's why we suggest to fix the registry itself.

Alex meant the release of the digital delivery versions.
Usually, after the release of the online version a least a month elapses before the realease of the boxed one.
By the way as soon as I have official news I'll post a topic about the point.
-
I personally replied to your email David and I think that the information I gave you should be communicated to the whole FSSE community.
We do not control all the files (except the standard web virus control) as the exchange procedure is fully automated.
So if the upload of a file has been interrupted after finishing, maybe the header of that file is listed while the files itself is not there.
In order to avoid this kind of problem we are going to move all the SE1s to a more reliable FTP.
We don't know when exactly the works will be terminated for now, by the way we'll give an official communication asap.

Deciding about new products is up to Mathijs, by the way I think your idea is...creative, really creative :D

Dear Dave,
I added your request to the "customers wish-list" that is sent to our concept & developement dept. every week.
-
Hi Mike,
our concept & developement dept. decides the list of the objects to include in any update in order to match our customer needs.
That's why I weekly report to our programmers a list of objects requested by the customers themselves.
Now, we have a loooong wish-list :wink: so I cannot give you a certain response, by the way your suggestion has been added, so be sure there are chances you'll see some small aircraft in the next service pack.
-
Thank you Jerry and thank you Martin...
Well Matthieu, welcome to this great community!
-
Hi Martin,
I added your request to our weekly customers suggestions report.
-
Dear Lars,
thank you for your feedback.
We apologize for the inconvenience, I told our webmaster to have a look into the issue.
Best regards,
-
Shaun is right.
If your serial number has the format XXXX-XXX...., then you have to choose the installation option "I AM NOT UPDATING".
-
Indeed the cumulative file contains all the SE1s uploaded up till October 2001.
We're still taking decisions on the point; we'll give some news asap.
-
Hi Wolfgang,
did you uninstall v1.0 before installing the new one?
I suggest you have a look at the list of installed programs into the ADD-REMOVE PROGRAMS interface.
Now Remove any voice responding to the name GEORENDER3, the install v1.10.
-
perfect Shano

Hi Sam,
while editing an SE1 secenery (with the FSSE editor enabled), you can delete an object at any time by selecting it an pressing CTRL+DEL.
In order to switch selection between several objects, you just have to press CTRL+SHIFT+left/right cursor.
What did you mean with "havent seen any answers to my question"?
Please report me any lack of response.
-
Alex just meant that we have already dealt with the mentioned issue in another topic.
LAGO won't develope an FSTraffic for FS2002 because we decided to dedicate our resources to other projects.
Just Flight, with our authorization, will develope a traffic based product named FSTraffic 2002 which is similar to our FSTraffic for FS2000.
-
Hi shano,
just meant that in order to let Honolulu work in a clean environment, you have to install it just after FS2002.
In this case it's definitely impossible that another installer interferes with our AI one.
At this moment you can install step by step the other addons (including the 737s).
As soon as you notice a problem with the AI, recover the mentioned file and relaunch our ai_installer.
I know that is boring but guess that in your case it is the only affordable procedure.
-
ya you're right...mea culpa :wink:

Thank you very much for your kind words Pete,

The parameteter named "aircraft textures" in FS2002 display settings, involves all the DXT textures.
