This is my.ini entry for the Kodiak "[Profile.Kodiak] 1=Kodiak Passenger in Red. I want it to apply to all the Kodiaks,so do I delete "Passenger in Red"?Thank you

"Kodiak"Yes and I deleted it and set up a new profile for the Kodiak.(You set that one for me previously)Works fine.Then I set a new profile for twin jets for the B737 and Lear.Both seem to be good.When I open FSUIPC.INI I have the 2 profiles you set up for me,Single prop and twin engine prop,but the Kodiak and Twin Jet profiles are not listed.I did not see an option to save them in FSUIPC.They are working(I think) but not listed in Profiles in the INI.Sorry to be such a pain,but I like to solve the problem.Thanks,Ron

OK,I went for a walk and I think I have part of it figured out.I need to delete the Kodiak specific included with my single prop specific then make a new one based on my single prop profile?Do I do that sames as if I had the old aircraft specific settings?Thanks,Ron

Pete,Several months ago you set up some profile specific profiles for several categories of my planes.All is working great but I would like to set a specific throttle calibration for my Turbo Kodiak.I have read and reread page 24 in the manual and understand it,but when I go to calibrate or axis assignments the profile specific box is checked but greyed out.How do I get to the Profile Specific new option?Then I want to choose new based on single prop that you set up and calibrate the throttle just for the Kodiak.Once again,thanks for any help and your patience.Ron

Just a follow up.I have been FSing since my Tandy 1000 somewhere back in the 80's.I love it and I love solving problems.You have been very patient .I am 68 and want to keep my brain active.Do you ever give the person at the check out register the coins so you get only bills back and they don't understand why you gave them the coins?And then you say should be just bills and they smile and say thank you but do not understand.Just giving you an insight into why I am trying to make things work.I have had a beer(or?) and dinner with my wife.Disregard this post as rambling.Ron

I understand.Now I do go in the the INI and see where the changes are registered.That is what I posted.I will set the pedals etc now.Just wanted to see if I was doing it right.So I am learning.For some reason my aileron will only set on the left setting.Nothing happens when I click the right button,but the right number is there.Elevator calibrated OK.Another minor glitch.Now when I use instant replay in spot view the hat switch does not pan.It used to do this..Are you ready to delete me from your response list yet?Only kidding.My business is seasonal and pretty much shut down and so is my opportunity to golf so this is what I do till I go somewhere warm after New Years.Thanks,Ron

OK<I just read the manual again.The only thing I may be doing wrong is setting the max value first.The manual says to set min first.Could this be my problem?Thanks,Ron

I have to go back to the manual.I calibrated and recalibrated all axes many times.I followed the instructions and the values showed up in the proper boxes and the I hit set.I don't understand why they would show default values.Ron

I always wondered about thos USB ports because I have had the Saitek quadrants get reversed after replugging them in,but it was a while ago.Did you see my question above about throttle calibration?".The throttles on the Baron are not coming back all the way.I went to calibration page and the are set at -16380 & +16380.However when I run them up and back at the top under the reset box they read 16128 in & 16123 out.When I pull them back to stop they read -16384 in & -4096 out. I did not change anything,just hit cancel and got out of there."Thaks,Ron
