  1. Hi, the works on both Lucas Oil Stadium and Midfield (as well as the FSX version of Milwaukee) had already started since July '08, unfortunately they have been delayed due to a season of work overload in my job, the economic crisis and some personal problems. As far as the Indy scenery updates concerns the updates will be done, however I can't say the same regarding the Milwaukee FSX version.

All I ask you is some time and patience, unfortunately the economic crisis doesn't allow me either to hire someone else to finish the scenery updates and as you can imagine designing sceneries like this one require lots of months of hard work.

    Thank you and best regards,

    Gregory

  2. Yes you'll have but you will have to wait a little for it, since it requires lot of work since there are some changes to do; in addition to make it look fine. Also don't forget the idea is to include interiors too, add dynamic vehicles, etc; as in the old terminal area. I need also more data of the airport and that requires time also (added to that of my other activities) it's just a matterm of time.

There's other project also in plans for the city of Miami, but Indy's update comes first in the list so don't worry it's a matter of time. As for Milwaukee's scenery for FSX it has been suspended for the moment, and we'll skip one version of FS for that scenery.

    Best regards,

    Greg

  4. Hi Indyrocks, could you please specify exactly the place of those zig-zags you are talking about. Also remember that as the new terminal (Midway) will be put into operation in real life, we expect to do so with our virtual one, including upgrading the ground system to its new pattern fitting the new terminal.

    Thank you and best regards.

  5. Hi Greg, there's a solution to this problem which had been addressed long time ago in other thread. However sometimes it's good to refresh some information  . So you have to just move the misc.bgl file from your scenery folder to the main KMKE2006 /Milwaukee 2006 folder.

Good Luck and thank you for using our scenery.

  6. Hi from what that image shows there aren't any buildings nor ground polygons or jetways, just nothing. So it looks like you have an exclude switch (maybe form other scenery) acting on Indianapolis scenery. So make sure you have Indy in the first layer of the scenery library, also you should check there aren't any other sceneries for the same area, since any exclude switch of those third party sceneries will make Indy just disappear.

  7. Are you sure you don't have any other third party scenery/ies installed for the same area, sometimes you can get conflicts due to the presence of other sceneries in the same area (sceneries, AFCAD's, etc). Please check this one, since it's pretty important.

If that is not the case, I guess the setup file has been corrupted while downloading it (sometimes it happens due to a momentary bad connection, so damaging the downloaded files).

What I would suggest you is to download it back again, since it might be damaged, because it's not supposed to do what you are describing.

  8. Hi, did you have installed the scenery in the main FSX folder?

Also, please never make any changes in the Display Options folder.

Other than that the program works fine, so please check the user guide where you can find a chapter that covers the usage of the Display Options application thoroughly, even with examples.

If the problem persists, please let me know it, but please check all the aforementioned first.

    Thank you and good luck

    Gregory

  9. Indianapolis International Airport KIND X represents another, dreamed airport to be depicted, that becomes true for flightsimmers. And now, for the users of FSX, this new scenery, brings the KIND airport to life in your simulator, in such a way that you won't believe your eyes.

We placed special emphasis on the realism of KIND airport representation, as never done before. This way, you are going to experience KIND as if you really are there; so much that the only thing you will be able to say is, that this place...is really alive. More on this in the features list.

The only difference between this scenery and Indianapolis X is that KIND X renders only the KIND airport and its surroundings leaving the extra features of the city for Indianapolis X. So this scenery represents a lite version of the larger scenery for those who only want the Airport.

The fact that makes this scenery look so realistic is the high quality of its features. So high, that they reached a level of reality that will make you think you are visiting its real life counterpart.

Another point worth of mention, is the fact that Dreamscenery KIND X is highly customizable, in such a way that you will be able to control how the scenery looks; match the capabilities of your system and get a better performance. Thus, thanks to the Dreamscenery Display Options application that comes along with the scenery you have the chance to set up which details and features you want to be rendered, as well as the number of them and quality. For example you can choose between having the airport parking lots with parked cars or not; or if the depicted Airport Garage Building will be the textured one, or the 3D one with its interiors also rendered. So, the number of configurations go up to hundreds of possibilities.

Regarding the new Midfield airport, for the moment it is rendered as it will look like by mid 2008. However a FREE update will be available for all the customers bringing the new terminal to life by the moment it will be finished in real life.

Finally, this scenery represents a huge improvement and upgrade over its predecessor KIND 2006 for FS2004; as well as over anything it's provided by the default FSX for this airport.

So here goes a list of some of the features you are going to meet when flying with Dreamscenery KIND X:

•1m/pixel aerial phototextures for the area of KIND airport and surroundings. Including night and winter versions.

•A complete representation of Indianapolis airport KIND which includes:

1.All the airport terminals (International Main Terminal, Cargo Terminal, Facility Building, Midfield terminal, etc.). All of them highly realistic looking like the ones of real life.

2.Taxiways and apron network with custom textures.

3.Runway grass and runway light system.

4.Dynamic custom made Jetways in the main terminal and Facility Building. They look like the real KIND jetways with their corresponding names and airlines logos. Plus they are easy to use, approaching your plane just with the default Ctrl+J call.

5.Terminal apron traffic in both, main terminal as well as in the FedX cargo area.

6.All the airport hangars, most of them with frequency controlled opening doors

    7.Taxiway and runway signs

8.Both the old and the new control tower.

9.Hundreds of static objects and details all around the airport

10.Custom made traffic (airport ground vehicles as well as cars coming and going away from the airport drop off area).

11.Parked custom made cars and vehicles in parking lots and other areas all around the airport.

12.Real buildings and vegetation around the airport zone (hotels, industrial, etc.) making you feel like being there.

13.New GRE next to the runway 5L-23R.

14.Custom made runways ice accumulation in those heavy winter days between January 15th and February 9th.

15.New Midfield terminal construction site as it’s expected to be seen by mid 2008 (due to be ready by late 2008). (A free upgrade will be available for all KIND X customers, by the time the real life terminal is finished, making the current terminal looking under construction now, to be rendered as a full operational terminal with dynamic jetways, traffic and other details as well as interiors rendered; in other words, in a few months Midfield will come into operation also for Dreamscenery KIND X).

•A configuration application, Display Options Program, that makes this scenery highly customizable, with hundreds of configuration set-up possibilities in order to match you system capabilities and get the best performance.

•An extensive user manual, full of information about the scenery and the KIND airport.

  10. Hi Nigel,

yes, it's supposed to do so; these console windows show you that the Indianapolis X folders and files scheme is changing, in order to give you as a result one of the different visual versions provided by the scenery.

Once the process stops, the consoles specifying the new folder scheme, stop showing up too.

  11. A free upgrade will be available for all Indianapolis X customers, by the time the real life terminal is finished, making the current terminal looking under construction for the moment, to be rendered as a full operational terminal with dynamic jetways, traffic and other details as well as interiors rendered; in other words, in a few months Midfield will come into operation also for Dreamscenery Indianapolis X).

  12. PRESENTING THE NEW DREAMSCENERY INDIANAPOLIS X SCENERY

Indianapolis X represents another, dreamed city to be depicted, that becomes true for flightsimmers. And now, for the users of FSX, this new scenery, brings the area of Indianapolis to life in your simulator, in such a way that you won't believe your eyes.

There are literally thousands of details to be discovered all around the city. This is thanks to the large size of the scenery; as well as to the number of featured details, that range from monumental structures, like skyscrapers, to the smallest ones ever imagined. So, with Dreamscenery Indianapolis X you have the chance to spend hours or even days, visiting over and over this area and always discover something new.

Another fact that makes this scenery look so realistic is the high quality of its features. For example, all the hundreds of custom made buildings, have been created with photoreal textures. Moreover, after exhaustive researches made on each one of them, they reached a level of reality that will make you think you are visiting its real life counterpart.

Since we consider the Indianapolis International Airport (KIND) part of the scenery as the most important one (don't forget that KIND is where your plane will land); we placed special emphasis on its representation, as never done before. This way, you are going to experience KIND as if you really are there; so much that the only thing you will be able to say is, that this place...is really alive. More on this in the features list.

Another point worth of mention, is the fact that Dreamscenery Indianapolis X is highly customizable, in such a way that you will be able to control how the scenery looks; match the capabilities of your system and get a better performance. Finally, this scenery represents a huge improvement and upgrade over its predecessors Indianapolis 2005 and KIND 2006; as well as over anything it's provided by the default FSX for this area.

So here goes a list of some of the features you are going to meet when flying with Dreamscenery Indianapolis X:

*All of the city skyscrapers (that means buildings of 12 and more floors) as well as lots of lowrises. All of them are custom-made with photoreal textures.

*Custom made monuments and landmarks all around the city; churches; hospitals; hotels; public buildings; sporting venues, like the famous Speedway or the Conseco Field to mention just a few; etc.

*Major and minor custom made bridges that look like the real ones as much as possible

*1m/pixel aerial phototextures for the areas of: Downtown and Center Township; Speedway and surroundings area; KIND airport and surroundings. Including night and winter versions.

*A complete representation of Indianapolis airport KIND which includes:

    1. All the airport terminals (International Main Terminal, Cargo Terminal, Facility Building, etc.). All of them highly realisting looking like the ones of real life.

    2. Runways, taxiways and apron network with custom textures.

    3. Runway grass and runway light system.

    15. New Midfield terminal construction site as it’s expected to be seen by 2008 (due to be ready by late 2008).

*Autogen scenery of buildings and vegetation in Indianapolis and surrounding cities (each building manually placed in their correct positions, trying to match the real location of each one and architecture of the zone). It has been made in a way that doesn´t affect frame rates seriously.

*A configuration application, Display Options Program, that makes this scenery highly customizable, with hundreds of configuration set-up possibilities in order to match you system capabilities and get the best performance.

*An extensive user manual, full of information about the scenery, the city and the KIND airport.

  13. Hi, could you please tell me exactly what other third party programs you are using.

Because, most of the users (including me) don't have that problem (I passed my plane over and over from the mentioned area and nothing happens). I've also tried with different planes, and still nothing crashes.

So as there're just three or four users with this issue, it must be related with some thirdparty scenery.

If you can give me the list of other programs in use I'll appreciate it too much as thus you can help me find a solution to this mystery.

  14. Above all sorry for the late answer but I'm working hard on the new version of Indianapolis for FSX, anyway to the point:

The textures for the Fedex building are:

indhng03,indhngtx01,indhngtx02, utils1 and all their corresponding LM textures (night textures).

As for the tower: check the indhng03 file.

Finally the hotels textures are found in chobjs and its corresponding _LM.

Hope this answer helped you out, good luck!

  15. Hi there, well looks like you did something wrong let's see:

First you have to download the following patch: http://www.dreamscenery.com.ar/patches/UpdateKIND2006.exe

    Then follow carefully these steps:

    1. Select the folder where your Indianapolis 2005 or Indianapolis 2005 " Lite"scenery is located, in order to have this update installed in that folder. (By default it points to the Indianapolis 2005 folder but you must change it to your installed name one).

    2. Once downloaded the patch and installed in your Indianapolis 2005 or

Indianapolis 2005 “Lite” folder you have to go to that folder where you

are going to find a file named upgrade.exe along with some temporary

folders you don’t have to touch at all.

    3. Run the upgrade.exe application and it will ask you which version of

Indianapolis 2005 you have (Full or Lite). Specify your version and click

    upgrade.

    4. Then your scenery should be upgraded as well as the folder scheme

changed, as from now on the old Highdensity and Lowdensity folders

have been replaced by one name DisplayOptions.

    5. Once upgraded, if you wish, you can delete the upgrade.exe file, as it’s

    useless from this point on.

I'm pretty sure that you did something wrong in the step #3.

    Good Luck

  16. Hi Greg, why you don't try pasting the zipped textures in both the Milwaukee scenery and KMKE scenery.

So that way, there's no possibility for the old textures to show up, as they simply will be gone, or rather overwritten by the new ones I sent you.

Try with that and let me know,

    Greg

  17. Greg first and above all I want to apologize for the delay, but unfortunately we've been a serious server connectivity problem for the last 10 days which still persists.

Currently the best solution is changing to a new server company so we're trying to solve it ASAP.

Until that is not solved I'm unable to send you any files as I simply can't due to the nature of the problem.

Please I want to ask you for some more patience as this technical problem is delaying much of my work.

Please accept my apologies, and I'll contact you as soon as it's solved.

    Thank you and best regards,

    Gregory

  18. But I've sent you the texture files in a separate zip by Yousendit.

Anyway, maybe the fall into the junk folder or you opened it after the period of 7 days when it disappears in order to avoid size overuse in the yousendit server.

Anyway I'll try again with the separate textures zip

I thought it was solved, anyways sorry for any inconvenience.

    best regards,

    Greg

  19. Hi there.

The location to download the patch is http://www.dreamscenery.com.ar/patches/KMKE2006Patch1.exe

Once you downloaded it, watch it's installed in your KMKE 2006 main folder (wherever it's located in) you have to check the installation path before installing (This step is quite important, otherwise you won't get any change)

Finally, after installing open the display options program and specify whether you have installed the Milwaukee scenery or not (Please remember doing this step).

After you followed the above steps it should work fine.

    Good luck.
