  1. Well it should not be like that since the scenery has more than 1000 real buildings!! the Timmerman area is full of dynamic cars going back and forth. SO something is wrong with installation.

    Let's see.

1- Please before installing the scenery check to uninstall any other scenery for the same area, all of them (in case of mesh sceneries and such you can test them one by one by trial and error but once Milwaukee 2006 is installed) but if we are talking of thirparty airport sceneries for the same area, AFCAD and such they should not be there.

2-Install the scenery as explained in the manual actually it's easy just click on the installer and it'll do the rest.

3-Add the scenery in the scenery library and put it in layer 1 above all the other sceneries you have.

4-Again please, check you don't have some excludes, AFCADS you've ever downloaded and are affecting the area (maybe they're are in the main FS scenery folder and you forgot about their existence, it use to happen, I know it since It happened to me)

Let me know if you solved it please

    Best regards,

    Greg

  2. Hi, thank you for your concern. Now here you got a percentage list of each item:

-Main Terminal (including interiors of some concourses)------100%

-Ground objects (taxiways, runways, edges, grass, appron, etc)----75%

    -Dynamic gates-----30%

-Signages, fences, highways and roads, road signs-------10%

    -Dynamic and static cars-------25%

    -Dynamic gates---------25%

    -Satellite terminals and hangars---------0%

-KMKE Downtown Hiawatha train service (dynamic train, station, etc)---0%

    -Sorrounding buildings and scenery------0%

About time since I want detailed results it could take some time (maybe two months) since as you can see it will be a really complete rendering of KMKE.

In a few weeks I'll post the first pictures.

    Thank you again,

    Greg

  3. Hi there, well let's see.

As you mentioned above indeed the scenery should be located in first layer. Also make sure there's no other scenery or thirdparty AFCAD file located for the same area. (this worked for the few persons who got this problem).

Also try to check any mesh scenery located for the area (this should not be a problem, though could be useful to check every item in order to solve the problem).

Also if the problem persists, uninstall it and reinstall it all back again and still if the problem persists after all the above issues checked out, I'd recommend you to download again the scenery since a connection problem might corrupt some files, resulting in scenery behavior faults.

Please let me know if the problem was solved, anyway following the above steps it should.

    Best regards,

    Greg

  4. It seems you are having a texture problem with the buildings, this must be due to a failure in your installation process which passed over some textures and they are not there or under the downloading process; accordingly the scenery files can't find the corresponding texture files for those buildings, taxiways, runways or whatever is the object in issue.

First you should unistall the whole scenery and reinstall it; if it persists you should download it again, maybe a connection problem sometimes corrupt the exe files while downloading.

    that should be all.

    best regards.

  5. Hi Mark, maybe the problem can be addressed in another thirparty scenery installed along with Milwaukee 2006. Just uninstall all the other sceneries which could cause conflict in the area. Put MIlwaukee 2006 in the first layer and if it's indispensable to have those other sceneries reinstall them one by one until you get the floating problem again, then you will address the scenery which causes the problem.

    Best regards,

    Gregory

  6. Hi we're working on the crash object detection problem. Unfortunately yet it seems to be a strange false crash detection in the terminal area.

So the whole terminal has to be redone and that takes sometime since we're speaking about a great percentage of the scenery. Accordingly it will take sometime to have it ready.

For the time being we recommend you to use the crash detection option off when in the main terminal area until this minor issue is solved.

For any other help or suggestion please let me know it in order to add it in next patches, if possible.

    Thank you and best regards.

  7. No, there won't be any charge at all for those who own Milwaukee 2006. It's an upgrade so no cost at all, consider it as a patch.

Now for those who don't own Milwaukee 2006 but still want to have KMKE it will be available as a standalone scenery with a cost similar to that of Indianapolis 2005 Lite.

So if you wish the whole package of Milwaukee 2006 you'll don't have to pay for KMKE, but for those who want just the KMKE airport scenery as a lite version of Milwaukee 2006 there will be some cost.

It's exactly the same as in Indianapolis 2005 where you can find the full version and the Lite the former with all of Indianapolis and KIND while the later with just KIND, of course at a lower price.

  8. Hi, actually it has already rendered the second in importance airport of Milwaukee, namely Timmerman Airport (KMWC), with as many details as in the Indy case.

Also you have also the other airports of the area, though with no the detail level KMWC includes.

  9. Maybe there will be a Mitchell rendition in the close future as a next addition release. For the time being there are two very good freeware representations of KMKE to choose from available which are compatible with this scenery.

As for FSgenesis, Ultimate terrain and birdseye view we didn't test it with those products, but should not be any problem since as long as you put Milwaukee 2006 in the top layer of sceneries library of fs2004 it lies over all other sceneries with no conflicts at all.

  10. Hi,

first you should disable any other third party scenery in the Indy area.

then you Have to install the patch since it disables the green terrain textures but blends the airport terrain with the default scenery gently, while if you do it manually you are going to find that horrible effect of the scenery floating over an unicompatible ground.

As for the fps I would not recommend you to operate on the different files and textures, as the later are mip mapped DXT1 textures.

The main problem in those systems with low FPS is the cars (specially the parked ones). The strange thing is that it can get a good performance in some systems of lower level and a less acceptable in other with a good one, actually it's an issue that will be solved for sure in the next patch as well as the align issue.

It's just a matter of time but there will be for sure a patch solving all these.

  11. Hi there!

As promised I've uploaded some new images showing Milwaukee 2006 and its many features in the images section of Dreamscenery's website.

    http://www.dreamscenery.com.ar/pics4.htm

Also since Milwaukee 2006 is still under construction you are going to find some gaps in many areas, specially in Downtown and other dense areas, which are going to be full of real buildings, boats, cars and much more objects which will bring Milwaukee to life in your Flight Simulator, as never seen before.

Soon you are going to enjoy Milwaukee as never before in your Flight Simulator.

    Best regards,

    Gregory Soldo

  12. Milwaukee is at a status of 81% so in about a month or 40 so days it's due to be finished and available for purchase.

Since it has quite many details like hundreeds and hundreeds.....upon hundreeds of real buildings, dynamic cars all around, beautiful photoreal textures, autogen, and many easter eggs among other things it took more time that expected (it was expected to be available for July), but many additions had been included, so folks it's an exchange of time for quality.

In a few days I'm going to post some pictures of Milwaukee and its sorrondings as never seen before.

    Best regards,

    Greg

  13. Hi

What this patch does is fix the former terrain textures rectangle problem.

It'll be addressed in a next patch, but currently works are being done on the upcoming Milwaukee scenery of which the 70% has been completed.

Anyway a next patch of Indy is on our plans.

  14. Hi I'm writing this message to announce you that the new patch which fixes the terrain texture rectangle problem in Indianapolis 2005 Lite is already available, with a download size of 10.2 MB.

Also I must remind you that this patch works only for Indianapolis 2005 LITE version, so users of the full version please don't install it since it could cause conflicts and malfunctions in your scenery.

The installation is a three steps straightforward process.

    1. Once you installed the patch just running the LitePatch.exe file and following its steps precisely do the following:

2.First you have to go to the Scenery folder of your Indianapolis2005Lite main folder.

3.Once in the Scenery folder, just delete the pin_20_21_asu.bgl file.

To download this patch just go to the order details page for the product

in your customer account at simmarket.

For any questions on this issue please refer your doubts to this forum and I'll try to help the better I can.

    Thank you all
