I'll try to detail this for those that might also be interested in using the Georenders a bit later today back here.
Hope this helps! :D

Yes please.
You know Gary, for the money we pay you, you're a great help :)

I was flying out of KSEA for PHNL today for a VATSIM VA, and thought I would share a couple of shots.
Looking to the North I thought of Emma, and wished I had enjoyed more fly-ins there with you good people :(
Then I looked down, saw Bremerton, and thought about our current Amazing Colossal VICTORY fly-in, and hoped I would enjoy many more fly-ins with you good people

Nice shots Tim. Sorry for not waiting for you at Glacier Park...I thought everyone had landed  .
I hope before this trip is over, or the next one begins, we can solve the "pimped-out green 172s" issue.
Cheers

This is a great event. Thank you to all who planned it, and you who are participating in it. Here's a some screenies I took today.
Late start at KPWT (everyone was at S10 already)
Wheels up 2130z

Caught up with everyone. Turning final rwy34 Deerpark, WA (KDEW)
Climbout of KDEW, headed to KFCA (Glacier Park International Airport, Montana)
Late descent and extended left base for rwy02, KFCA

That's interesting...cuz the scenery (at least S88 and Chelan, I want to be surprised by the rest) are working perfectly on my machine. Tim, weren't you having troubles like this before over at Bremerton?
P.S. Everyone I won't be home and in the air until about 2130-2200 zulu. So check your six, and leave some hot dogs and fuel. 8)

Hi Joel:
...do you by any chance also have the new Winter module for the Samoshin Natural World Trees?
Thanks again! :D
GaryGB

Joel:
We are trying to troubleshoot this anomaly... your installation looks fine in the default configuration!
GaryGB
I do not have a defualt setting by any means: I have UTX, GEX, and SAMOSHIN Natural Trees installed. All with the latest updates.

Hello all,
Should we do a prototype of the Amazing Colossal Fly-in sometime this week to make sure everything is working right, and that we are all seeing each other correctly?
-
1700 GMT is too early for me (PST). I'll be at church until 2000 GMT, but will depart after you guys at 2100 GMT.

There's a reason they call us "patients" not customers.
Well written blog entry. Thank God you're well.
Best regards, Joel

Okay, I'll be flying my Carenado Mooney 201 in Mr. Sean Doran's repaint: seen here
"title=carenado Mooney N252Q"
Download texture here: http://library.avsim.net/download.php?DLID=124229
Best alias would be the stock Mooney that comes with FSX and FS9

Hi everyone,
Thanks to Pup's help (and the moral support of Gary :) ) I have managed to get FSX and Vista Ultimate 64bit to connect via FSHost and TeamSpeak. YAY!
For those of who are going to fly in The Amazing Colossal VICTORY Fly-In, what aircraft are you planning on using?
Thanks
...and let's try to have some fun (we need it!)
-
Thank ya kind sir :!:
-
Pups,
Do you, or anyone else, have a FSX flight plan by chance?
Thanks

Count me in.

I'm wanting to participate in this event, but need some help (i.e. a link or two) on how to specifically setup my FSHost for FSX (w/ Vista 64), as well as a refresher on TeamSpeak. I PM'd Gary, but I imagine this Black Friday stuff has got him very occupied along with the rest of us. Thanks!

I can not possibly add anything further to this discussion with the exception of saying that I agree with the statements made here
Ditto.
I highly respect you gentlemen, along with much of the FS community, and am suppportive and thankful for the insights...cuz this hobby has gotten confusing in the last couple of years. :?
Finally, we get to sink our teeth into FSX and take it farther than we dreamed we could. It's exciting! In another year or two, a lot more of us will have computers that can chew up the latest sim with ease, and we can have that nirvana feeling that's the sole domain of smug FS9 users now.So I say relax and smile! A much more engaging sim experience is possible now that the platform has stabilized. I for one am looking forward to playing in this sandbox for years to come.
Is anyone else besides me thinking that now would be an excellent time for some programmer to start working on an FSX replacement for FSNavigator? :D
Bravo! Well said Bill!
Teeth sunk into FSX and committed to the sandbox here.
I have mourned the loss FSNavigator (and I can't take another day without being able to fly around Emma) so yes to your last question!!!

Sah...lute! Looks fab! Is there going to be a glider launch?
-
(surely FS Navs greatest drawback was it's need for FS( to be running before it could be accessed!)
I disagree. FSNav's greatest feature was that it's module was internal to FS, not requiring one to go to the desktop, or running in windowed mode.

Havarti enough!

Not sure if you've heard about these events.
Twin Otter crashed on approach to Lukla and killed all 19 aboard.
Next there was a Qantas A330 flying from Singapore to Perth that went into a nose down dive injuring 74 people and had to make an emergency landing. Here's an article: Qantas Dive

Sorry to hear that Francois.
Thanks Gary for the info...I will give your suggestions a try when the time comes, or server is up.

I'm still a little new and unacquainted, as maybe others are (?). Would it be possible for us to log in with at least our first names along with our callsigns? Or, maybe post our names with our callsigns here in the forum? Just a suggestion.
