  1. I'll try to detail this for those that might also be interested in using the Georenders a bit later today back here.

    Hope this helps! :D

    Yes please.

You know Gary, for the money we pay you, you're a great help :)

  2. I was flying out of KSEA for PHNL today for a VATSIM VA, and thought I would share a couple of shots.

Looking to the North I thought of Emma, and wished I had enjoyed more fly-ins there with you good people :(

Then I looked down, saw Bremerton, and thought about our current Amazing Colossal VICTORY fly-in, and hoped I would enjoy many more fly-ins with you good people

  4. That's interesting...cuz the scenery (at least S88 and Chelan, I want to be surprised by the rest) are working perfectly on my machine. Tim, weren't you having troubles like this before over at Bremerton?

P.S. Everyone I won't be home and in the air until about 2130-2200 zulu. So check your six, and leave some hot dogs and fuel. 8)

  5. Hi everyone,

Thanks to Pup's help (and the moral support of Gary :) ) I have managed to get FSX and Vista Ultimate 64bit to connect via FSHost and TeamSpeak. YAY!

For those of who are going to fly in The Amazing Colossal VICTORY Fly-In, what aircraft are you planning on using?

    Thanks

...and let's try to have some fun (we need it!)

  6. I can not possibly add anything further to this discussion with the exception of saying that I agree with the statements made here

    Ditto.

I highly respect you gentlemen, along with much of the FS community, and am suppportive and thankful for the insights...cuz this hobby has gotten confusing in the last couple of years. :?

Finally, we get to sink our teeth into FSX and take it farther than we dreamed we could. It's exciting! In another year or two, a lot more of us will have computers that can chew up the latest sim with ease, and we can have that nirvana feeling that's the sole domain of smug FS9 users now.

So I say relax and smile! A much more engaging sim experience is possible now that the platform has stabilized. I for one am looking forward to playing in this sandbox for years to come.

Is anyone else besides me thinking that now would be an excellent time for some programmer to start working on an FSX replacement for FSNavigator? :D

    Bravo! Well said Bill!

Teeth sunk into FSX and committed to the sandbox here.

I have mourned the loss FSNavigator (and I can't take another day without being able to fly around Emma) so yes to your last question!!!
