I just downloaded FSUIPC and now it's 4.947 for windows 7 pro 64 bit and FSXSE from http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html Hopefully this fixes my joystick problem. I can use it but after being on auto pilot for a while I loose my joystick. When I check it in FSXSE, it's shows working correctly and I can calibrate it but it doesn't. I've been working on this problem for months. Same thing happens in windows 8, 8.1 and 10. Logitech says this new extreme pro 3d joystick is compatible with all versions of windows. I did check the properties of it in device manager and I unchecked the box to allow windows to turn it off to save power and I tried setting it to works as a vista unit, made no difference. It's plugged in to the rear of the system directly into the motherboard not the usb extension cable running up front. It was suggested to plug it into the usb 3 port but it won't go it. Mickeysoft says it's a problem with Logitech's software because it auto installs into program files not the C drive. Logitech says it's a problem with FSXSE and I have to admit it didn't happen with the box version of FSX...........Everyone blames the other but no one wants to fix the problem. All of the websites for FSX have people complaining abut this issue.....I'll let you know if this fixed it. Thanks for all your years of helping us poor souls to at least fly in our dream.
